Study Initiation: • Analyze Existing Conditions • Begin Travel Demand Modeling As part of the Draft EIS process, SEPTA will: • Draft Project Purpose & Need • Identify Alternatives • Develop and review multiple project alternatives; • Public Meetings • Complete environmental and engineering studies; and Development and Refinement of Alternatives: • Project Scoping/Environmental Studies • Provide ongoing opportunities for public involvement and • Identification of At-Grade Alternatives input. • Analysis of Alternative Alignments • Conceptual Engineering • Initiation of Project Development During the Tier 3 screening process, 5 build alternatives • Public Review were narrowed down to a Recommended Locally Preferred Analysis, Evaluation and Final Refinement of Alternative (Recommended LPA).
