Day 1 :

This tour traverses the spectacular Atlantic coastline which includes the scenic Chapman’s Peak drive.

Admire the diverse plant kingdom, whilst enjoying the panoramic views at . Visit the African Penguin colony at on one of the three mainland colonies.

• Stop for a photo shoot at Maidens cove, take in the Twelve Apostles mountain range and the spectacular beach. • At , take a boat trip to Duiker to view the cape fur seals. • Stop at the most south weterly point of , the fabled . • Ride the Flying Dutchman (train) to the famous Cape Point lighthouse. • After lunch we visit Boulders Beach African Penguin colony. • On the way back to the city we visit the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, regarded as one of the best botanical gardens in the world. Day 2 & 3 : Cape Winelands

The area boasts picturesque vineyards combined with majestic mountain views to create some of the most attractive panoramas in the world. Visit historic wine route towns of , and Franschoek.

• Explore Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in , including the many museums, galleries and shops. • Visit a minimum of three wineries where we get to taste high quality reds and whites. • Lunch at one of the many top restaurants.

Day 4 : City and (full day)

* Explore the heart of the city, from the historic buildings to the cultural landmarks, such as the Company Gardens, a walk along Government Avenue to view the Houses of Parliament and St Georges Cathedral, National Gallery, SA Museum and Slave Lodge.

• Visit the colourful old Malay quarters known as the Bo-Kaap. Time permitting, we head off to the V&A Waterfront for an afternoon shopping experience. • Take the cable car to the summit of Table Mountain and enjoy the spectacular 360° view of the City, sea and peninsula. • Browse the African market at Green Market Square. • Visit the , SA’s oldest building with its collection of old Cape Paintings. • Follow the history from the Grande Parade where Nelson Mandela addressed the nation after his release from prison and again as the country’s first black democratically elected President. Day 5 : “ The Whale Route” Seasonal June to November

Each year the Southern Right Whale makes a journey to our coastline to calve and raise their offspring and enjoy their annual mating ritual.

The tour includes the magnificent scenic coastal road to the charming village of Hermanus. Board a boat from June to November, and get up real close to the Southern Right Whales.

The Town of Hermanus is one of the world’s top whale watching destinations, with whales approaching very close to the shore.

• Visit the African Penguin colony at Betty’s Bay. • Harold Porter Botanical Gardens which is rich in indigenous local . • Wine tasting in the Hemel-en-Aarde which is the home to our top chardonnay and pinot noir wines.
