Lee Harvey Oswald had the same view as he crouched at this sixth floor window to watch the presidential motorcade approach on Hous ton Street and turn down Elm Street, passing through Dealey Plaza. Then he shot and killed President Kennedy. Living in Dallas, Texas Demographics Dallas is the third-largest city in Texas and the ninth-largest in the United States.
