Explore some of Herzegovina's most beautiful and iconic sites. We depart from Sarajevo in the morning. The first stop in our journey today is in , located some 10 km from , the capital of Herzegovina during medieval times. We will visit its main attraction, the 16th century tekke – a dervish monastery located on the source of the river . Built on a rocky cliff sloping steeply down to the bank of the River, Počitelj is one of the most picture-perfect architectural ensembles in the country. Architecturally, two stages of evolution may be observed: mediaeval, and Ottoman. We take a small break and use the chance to enjoy traditional coffee in serene surroundings. We move to Kravice, for rest and relaxation. Kravice waterfalls are a real gem on the river Trebižat, and is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy the beauty that nature can offer. The brave ones can even cool off by taking a swim in the clear, cold water under the waterfalls. In the afternoon we will drive to Mostar to see and admire Stari Most, one of the most famous in the world. After an organized tour of the old town, free time will be given to enjoy Mostar on your own way. In the evening hours we will return to Sarajevo. Day Plan: All days

Herzegovina Experience/Day Trip

In a country so rich in historical and natural heritage, it is next to impossible to decide which places deserve your full attention. So let us do it for you. With this tour we will take you to the most interesting and sometimes intriguing places in . In the company of highly experienced tourist guides you will enter the «Tito’s Bunker» in , once one of the most secret locations in former Yugoslavia. After this full immersion in the Cold War era we will continue to Blagaj where the group will explore the 16th century Islamic monastery built by the source of the cold Buna river. Free time for lunch in one of the local restaurants will follow. In the afternoon we will drive to Mostar to see and admire Stari Most, one of the most famous bridges in the world. After an organized tour of the old town, free time will be given to have a nice local coffee or perhaps buy some souvenirs. In the evening hours we will return to Sarajevo.

Ottoman towns in Herzegovina

We start the day’s exploration by traveling to . In Stolac we see heritage from various periods at a walking distance of each other (Čaršija -old market area, Ottoman-time houses).

In Počitelj, an ancient town on a rocky cliff that slopes down to the Neretva River, we walk through narrow stone pathways, exploring its Ottoman-era architecture (mosques, hamams, a clock-tower, mekteb, han and many oriental homes). Počitelj is UNESCO WHS patron and national monument.

In Blagaj, once the mediaeval capital of Herzegovina, we visit the 16th c. Dervish tekke built on a mighty cliff at the source of the river. Free time for lunch next to the source.

In the Old Town of Mostar we learn about its turbulent past and intriguing present. Surrounded by the marvelous , we visit the Old of Mostar, the UNESCO world heritage site.

Rafting on the Neretva river

When you make the drive between Mostar and Sarajevo, you will inevitably be astonished by the beauty of the canyons of Neretva – the river which is the lifeline of Herzegovina. Rafting is the ideal way to appreciate this beauty while refreshing yourself in the pure, drinkable water of the river.

Rafting is a great way to stay active and healthy, spend quality time with friends and/or family. This rafting route allows us to appreciate the hidden gems of the river, that are otherwise inaccessible.

After you arrive to Konjic you meet your skipper, who makes sure you firstly catchy our transport to the starting point of the route. We are handed our equipment and instructions, and after a half-hour ride through the forests and hills that surround Konjic, we finally get into the river and start the trip.

The descent is relaxing for the most part, since there aren't may rapids. You'll take breaks for swimming, chilling out and food, and arrive back to Konjic safely a few hours later. After showering and changing back to our regular clothes, depart from Konjic.

South Herzegovina Tour

Southern Herzegovina is the land of herbs, honey and wine. Historically, it's been part of important trading routes between the inland and the coast, which means it has a rich and colourful history which we'll be able to explore in this tour. We depart Sarajevo in the morning and travel south. Our first stop is National Park Sutjeska. A tour of the Sutjeska National Park. Sutjeska is an important place of Tito’s Yugoslavia known for the Battle of Sutjeska. Then we continue our trip to , one of the most interesting towns in Herzegovina. We meet our local guide who takes us for a lovely walking tour of the town, followed by free time for lunch and individual exploration.

After Trebinje we make a stop at the Tvrdoš monastery. This monastery, dated back to the 14th century, is famous not only because it's one of the oldest and most important orthodox monasteries in the country, but also because of their famed wine cellars. So, we not only visit a truly interesting religious site, but also take some time to do a wine tasting. In the evening hours we will return to Sarajevo.

Exclusive wine tour

Herzegovina is a region known for a great climate, beautiful landscapes and fantastic cuisine. Plenty of sunshine and quality soil mean that Herzegovina also has perfect conditions for producing high quality wines. This showcases the stories of two of Herzegovina's indigenous wine sorts – žilavka and blatina. We will learn the stories behind the wines and the people who produce them.

We depart in the morning from Sarajevo. In today's tasting we will try wine and sparkling wine at the Zadro winery and the cellars of Andrija
