Reise Nach Bosnien Und Herzegowina

Samardzic, University of Priština in Kosovska Mitrovica, Faculty of Philosophy, Department of History, Kosovo and Metohija, Kosovo ABSTRACT Statues that testify about the religiousness of the Roman citizens exist in east Herzegovina (south of the province of Dalmatia) as well as in all areas within the Roman Empire. The spiritual life of the citizens from the south of the province of Dalmatia (east Herzegovina) reflected in the respect for a significant number of cults. The religion of an ancient man from east Herzegovina is respresented, above all, by modest archeological findings and epigraph statues. It manifested itself in the respect for a significant number of cults that relied on Illyrian tradition, Roman and oriental deities. Keywords: Ancient cults, epigraph statues, the Roman Empire, the province of Dalmatia, east Herzegovina. INTRODUCTION today. Be Inspired by Herzegovina/Day trip Explore some of Herzegovina's most beautiful and iconic sites. We depart from Sarajevo in the morning. The first stop in our journey today is in Blagaj, located some 10 km from Mostar, the capital of Herzegovina during medieval times. We will visit its main attraction, the 16th century tekke – a dervish monastery located on the source of the river Buna. Built on a rocky cliff sloping steeply down to the bank of the Neretva River, Počitelj is one of the most picture-perfect architectural ensembles in the country. Architecturally, two stages of evolution may be observed: mediaeval, and Ottoman. We take a small break and use the chance to enjoy traditional coffee in serene surroundings. We move to Kravice, for rest and relaxation. Kravice waterfalls are a real gem on the river Trebižat, and is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy the beauty that nature can offer. The brave ones can even cool off by taking a swim in the clear, cold water under the waterfalls. In the afternoon we will drive to Mostar to see and admire Stari Most, one of the most famous bridges in the world. After an organized tour of the old town, free time will be given to enjoy Mostar on your own way. In the evening hours we will return to Sarajevo. Day Plan: All days 08:00 – Departure Sarajevo 10:20 – Arrival Blagaj and start of tour 11:00 – End of tour and departure from Blagaj 11:30 – Arrival to Počitelj, tour and coffee break 11:30 – Departure from Počitelj 12:00 – Arrival to Kravice and free time 15:30 – Departure from Kravice 16:00 – Arrival to Mostar 18:30 – Departure from Mostar 20:30 – Arrival to Sarajevo and end of programme Tour duration: 12,30 h All prices are per person: Minimum 2 persons 2 pax: 155 € 3 pax: 110 € 4 pax: 85 € 5 pax: 70 € 6 pax: 65 € 7 pax: 60 € 8 pax: 55 € Minibus 8 -15 pax: 45 € Bus 15 + : 35 € Included: Transport (Walking & panoramic tour), tour guide, entrance and parking fees, VAT and taxes. -
