INSTRUCTIONS FOR ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION OF MATERIALS

Attached is your Mail-In , which is available by electronic means only to military personnel and overseas citizens.

This ballot shall not be duplicated for any other voter.

To be counted, your ballot must be received in the Camden County Board of no later than the close of polls, Election Day.

Your ballot, with signed Waiver of Rights to a Secret Ballot, must be mailed as well as faxed/emailed. If both arrive in time for the election, only the mailed ballot will be counted.

HOW TO VOTE YOUR BALLOT

1. The only kind of mark to be made on this ballot in voting shall be a cross (x), plus (+) or check (9).

2. To vote for any candidates whose names are printed in any column, mark a cross, plus or check in the square at the right of the names of such candidates not in excess of the number to be elected to the office.

3. To vote for any person whose name is not printed on this ballot, write the name of such person opposite the proper title of office in the column designated Personal Choice and mark a cross, plus or check in the square to the right of the name so written.

4. To vote upon any public question printed on this ballot if in favor thereof, mark a cross, plus or check in the square at the right of the word “Yes”, and if opposed thereto, mark a cross, plus or check in the square at the right of the word “No”.

5. Do not mark this ballot in any other manner than above provided for and make no erasures. Should this ballot be wrongly marked, defaced, torn or any erasure made thereon or otherwise rendered unfit for use: Fax: Return it and obtain another Email: Reprint; if you do not have the email, return it and obtain another

1. If you received the ballot materials via email, download and print the ballot materials 2. Mark the Ballot and sign Waiver of Right of a Secret Ballot 3. Complete Electronic Transmission Sheet 4. Fax the transmission sheet, ballot and waiver to the Board of Elections: (856) 661-3616 5. Immediately airmail all ballot materials (transmission sheet, ballot and waiver) to the Camden County Board of Elections. Please see below for address and Federal Write-In envelope instructions.

• Voters may obtain the security envelope and ballot transmittal envelope from the Federal Write-In (SF-186), which are available from your Voting Action Officer (VAO) at military installations, embassies, or consulates. Detach the envelope from the rest of the form and place the voted ballot in the security envelope and immediately mail it back to the Camden County Board of Elections.

• If a Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot security envelope is not available, use two (2) plain envelopes and mark one as the “security envelope”. Place your faxed/emailed ballot in the security envelope, and seal. Place this envelope inside the second envelope. Print your residence address, sign your name and date the envelope across the sealed envelope flap. -3-

WAVIER OF RIGHTS TO A “SECRET BALLOT” N.J.S.A. 19:59-14

I, the undersigned, being last domiciled in New Jersey at

I understand that by faxing/emailing a copy of my voted ballot, I am voluntarily waiving my right to a secret ballot. At the same time, I pledge to place the original voted ballot in a secure envelope, together with any other required certification, and send the documents immediately by air mail to the appropriate county board of elections.

PENALTY FOR FRAUDULENT VOTING N.J.S.A. 19:59-8

Any person who, knowingly violates any of the provisions of the Overseas Residents Absentee Voting Law, or who, not being entitled to vote thereunder, fraudulently votes or attempts to vote thereunder or enables or attempts to enable another person, not entitled to vote thereunder, to vote fraudulently thereunder or who prevents or attempts to prevent by fraud the voting of any person legally entitled to vote under this act, shall be guilty of an indictable offense, and upon conviction thereof shall be subject, in addition to such other penalties as are authorized by law, to disenfranchisement unless until pardoned or restored by law to the right of suffrage.
