Fylkesmannen viser til oversendingar med omfattande saksmateriale frå Naustdal kommune datert 6.juni. Reguleringsplanen gjeld også areal i Askvoll kommune. Kommunane har sams saksutgreiingar i alle delar av saka, og dei to kommunestyra har gjort likelydande vedtak. Askvoll kommune har sendt over vedtaka sine i ei eiga oversending datert 21.juni. Etter avtale mellom kommunane, og i samråd med Fylkesmannen, har Naustdal kommune oversendt all dokumentasjon i saka. Det ligg føre motsegn til reguleringsplanen frå Fiskeridirektoratet region vest. Motsegna er retta mot det planlagde sjødeponiet i Førdefjorden. Fylkesmannen gjennomførde mekling 15.mars 2011. Meklinga førde ikkje fram, og saka vert såleis sendt over til Miljøverndepartementet for endeleg avgjerd. Vedlagt følgjer saka i samsvar med § 5-6 i plan- og bygningslova og rundskriv T- 2/09 (jf også rundskriv T-5/95 som er følgt så langt det passar). Kommunane har motteke klage frå Kyllingstad Kleveland Advokatfirma DA på reguleringsplanvedtaka. Klaga vert oversendt til Miljøverndepartementet utan kommentarar frå Fylkesmannen. Dokumenta er også tilgjengelege på kommunane sine heimesider (Postliste – Søk etter sak – saksnr. 09/126 i Naustdal og saksnr.07/624 i Askvoll). Bakgrunn Reguleringsplanen for Engebøfjellet har som formål å tilretteleggje for utvinning av titanmalm (titanoksid). -

We have also deduced a new model based on the ‘seismic pumping’ mechanism to explain the observed correlation between land uplift and groundwater yield in Norway. Rock avalanches and landslides represent the most hazardous effects of earthquakes in Norway with its mountainous terrain, deep fjords and relatively large areas with unstable quick-clay. New seismic mini-arrays in the Ranafjord area and the northern North Sea have sharply defined zones of increased seismicity. A total of 350 earthquakes have been detected in the outer Ranafjord area during the project period (2½ years), with magnitudes up to 2.8. -

Welcome to the Tre Lag Stevne in South Saint Paul, Minnesota. We were last in the Twin Cities area in 2009 in this same location. In a metropolitan area of this size it is not as easy to see the results of the Norwegian immigration as in smaller towns and rural communities. But the evidence is there if you look for it. This year’s speakers will tell the story of the Norwegians who contributed to the richness of American culture through literature, art, architecture, politics, medicine and science. You may recognize a few of their names, but many are unsung heroes who quietly added strands to the fabric of America and the world. We hope to astonish you with the diversity of their talents. Our tour will take us to the first Norwegian church in America, which was moved from Muskego, Wisconsin to the grounds of Luther Seminary,. We’ll stop at Mindekirken, established in 1922 with the mission of retaining Norwegian heritage. It continues that mission today. We will also visit Norway House, the newest organization to promote Norwegian connectedness. Crossing Longfjell Bridge over Eidfjord Norway Norway is considered the most scenic country in Scandinavia and offers a wide range of land- scapes. Mighty glaciers created over millions of years numerous deep fjords and bays, so water will be our constant companion on the tour. More than ten times we are crossing by ferry one of the picturesque fjords and pass hundreds of water- falls and raging rivers. Again and again it goes from sea level up to the fells, as the plateaus of Norway are called. Dense forests are also on the program as one or the other island and skerry along the coast. Dozens of tunnels are carved in the rock, including the Laerdalstunnelen, with nearly 25 km the world’s longest road tunnel. With the Holmenkollen we visit the Mecca of the Nordic winter sports and cross Telemark, in this county the skiing was invented over 150 years ago. At Norway’s most famous waterfall Vor- ingsfossen we spend a night, over 180 meters the water plunges into the depths. And the Gei- rangerfjord and Norway’s best known mountain road Trollstigvegen are other musts on the tour before we are back in Oslo.
