King’s Cross ARP Church PRAYER GUIDE FOR MARCH 2014 “O give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples, sing to Him, sing praises to Him; speak of all His wonders. Glory in His holy name; let the heart of those who seek the LORD be glad.” Psalm 105:1-3 NASV

SUNDAY: ♦ Give thanks to the Lord for hearing and answering our prayers regarding the Hemby Bridge property: The Emmanuel Independent Church has signed a lease with an option to purchase the property. (We express gratitude to Ferguson, II & Paul Hoffman for their good and faithful efforts in this endeavor.) ♦ Pray that God would bless Nathan, Josh, Zack, and the Elders & Deacons of King’s Cross Church with His wisdom, guidance, and vision as they plan, equip, and lead in the ministry and outreach of the church.

MONDAY: ♦ Pray for God’s wisdom, guidance & protection upon Keith Ackerman, director of the Christian Hospital, Sahiwal, Pakistan. ♦ Pray for the nurses in training & and those serving patients as they care for their medical needs and engage in sharing the Gospel. The hospital ministers to some 35,000 Muslim patients each year. ♦ Pray for Andy and Nannette Howard in their ministry in the ARP Mission Schools in Pakistan, and for the development of the Mission High School in Chichawatni.

TUESDAY: ♦Pray for America – the President, members of the House & Senate, and judges – that the Spirit of God would work mightily in their hearts and minds to convict them of the sins of pride, greed and injustice, bring them to repentance, and draw them to faith in and grant them knowledge and wisdom in their decisions. ♦ Pray that Christian leaders would be granted protection and courage in standing for truth and justice. ♦ Pray that God would raise up and call Christians with godly convictions, moral values, courage, and strength, who would give of themselves to serve in government leadership

WEDNESDAY: ♦ Pray for persecuted Christians around the world, that God would grant them protection, encouragement and hope in remaining faithful to Christ. ♦ Pray that the ’s presence would conquer loneliness and give peace in their hearts. ♦ Continue to pray for the release of Pastor Saeed Abedini in Iran, and the needs of his wife & children.

THURSDAY: ♦ Attend the 10:00AM Prayer Time & the 10:30AM Study at the church. ♦ Pray today for those with special needs who are listed in your church newsletter. ♦ Pray for those missionaries which King’s Cross Church helps to support in ministry. ♦ Pray for health, protection, and ability in language and joy in ministry: In Germany: Rebekah Carson; In Turkey: Sebastian & Pattie Benicourt and their 5 children (, Elise, , , & ); In Turkey: Joshua & Vonia Thomas and their 4 children (, Krysia, Ella, & ).

FRIDAY: ♦ Pray for strength and guidance for our Synod Moderator, Jeffrey Kingswood, in his many responsibilities and travels. ♦ Pray for God’s guidance upon the leaders and Agencies of our Denomination: Bonclarken, Christian Education Ministries, Erskine College & Seminary, Outreach North America, and World Witness. ♦ Pray for Nathan and other members of the Synod Committee assigned to study the clarity of portions of the Westminster Confession of Faith. Pray that God will grant them wisdom and guidance in the recommendations they are to present at the June, 2014 meeting of Synod.

SATURDAY: ♦ Pray for the ministry of the Charlotte Rescue Mission as they faithfully share the Gospel and provide food and shelter and godly counseling for people who are hopeless, often homeless, and held captive to various addictions.
