CAMP POLLIWOG Age 3-4yrs Campers will explore their imaginations each day with lots of fun-filled activities that center on each week’s theme. Activities may include games, story time, crafts, experiments, special guests, music, outdoor play and playground opportunities. PREHISTORIC PLANET: Transport back in time to a land where dinosaurs ruled the earth. Campers will use their 30.308 best paleontology skills to dig up dinosaur bones and see what chemical reaction makes a volcano erupt. We are 6/18-6/22 sure to have a stompin’ good time!

ANIMAL KINGDOM: Grab your binoculars as we explore the vast kingdom of animals. A BUG’S LIFE: Creepy, crawly little bugs- Campers will explore the park to find insects in their natural habitats and 30.311 learn about the importance of taking care of the environment where we play. WATER WORKS: Splish, splash- Jump into a big puddle of fun! This week we are getting wet EVERY DAY! The Leaders in Training program (L.I.T.) gives teens the opportunity to develop important job skills and prepare for future employment through training, hands-on experience and evaluation. L.I.T.’s will learn leadership and problem-solving skills, while working with young campers throughout the summer. Please note: There are limited spaces available and although camp preferences are taken into consideration, camp placement will be based on specific camp needs. There is a maximum of twenty – four (24) L.I.T.’s per session that will be assigned to various camps throughout Redwood City.

The L.I.T. program consists of four (4), two (2) week sessions. All applicants must submit a written application with payment and the most qualified will be asked to interview. Taught by the staff of Stanford Tennis Coach John Whitlinger and USPTA Professional Tom Sarsfield. SUMMER CAMP Our popular tennis camps emphasizes stroke FUNdamentals with dynamic games and exciting drills. Each camp will have the appropriate court size and tennis balls for their age group. Two courts grouped by ability. Please sign up early! Students provide own rackets.

TERRIFIC TINY TENNIS Age 5-7: Children play FUN activities and games with low compression tennis balls on the “42 ft. court” that will enhance their skill development in a success oriented environment. Small group lessons, only 2-6 students! We recommend the 23” to 25” rackets. QUICKSTART TENNIS Age 8-10: Kids will enhance their skill development with special compression tennis balls on the “60 ft. court”. Play to learn! JUNIOR NOVICE TENNIS Age 10-14: For beginning to low intermediate players, two courts grouped by ability. Develop the essential techniques with emphasis on control, depth, and direction on the “78 ft. court” with regulation tennis balls. Lessons will also incorporate rules, etiquette, and basic doubles play. BRIDGE CARE is available all week, however, this camp is only 4 days per week. Feel free to add BRIDGE CARE and an afternoon camp, but Fridays you will need to bring your chid directly to Red Morton Center for care at 12:00pm with their lunch.
