August 27, 2021 Update August 27, 2021 Update Dear Neighbours, I would like to thank all Team Toronto partners for making getting vaccinated against COVID- 19 as easy as possible and thank you Toronto for rolling up your sleeves and getting vaccinated. If you haven’t booked your first or second COVID-19 dose, you can now walk-in to any of the City-run vaccination clinics. Details are available at www.toronto.ca/covid19. City of Toronto encouraging all Toronto residents to join “VaxTO” telephone town hall taking place on Monday, August 30 at 6pm. This telephone town hall is the final town hall in a series of nine that were held throughout the summer as part of the City’s VaxTO campaign. Toronto residents will have the opportunity to learn more about the City’s vaccination program and ask questions. Residents who have questions about COVID-19 vaccines are encouraged to join the city-wide English-language telephone town hall by calling 1-833-490-0778 or by tuning in via webstream at www.toronto.ca/vaccinetownhall. Back to school is just a few weeks away! Get your COVID-19 vaccine today so students can get back to school safely in September! Getting both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine is the best defence against the virus, including the Delta variant, and will provide the opportunity for students to return to school as safely as possible. CivicLabTO Toronto Ambient Air Quality Impacts from COVID-19 Study! The aim of the study is to collect responses from City of Toronto residents to provide insights on the relationships that exist between human behaviour, activity, air pollution, and carbon emissions in Toronto before, during, and after movement restrictions as related to the COVID-19 pandemic through a survey. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Please complete this survey by August 31, 2021.
