PROFILE I am a self-shooting producer/director with experience of working on various programs such as 'Salvage Hunters', C4s '' and National Geographic's, 'History Scanners', as well as many other series. I enjoy finding people's story and discovering their inner workings by gaining confidence, through respect. I have worked for over 15 years in Broadcasting and gained skills in all aspects of production. I have been working on long-form documentaries and sort form projects for various clients filming around the world, including subjects such as surgical procedures, directing documentaries covering social work done by the 'International Judo Federation' in Africa, China, and Japan. I have produced short-form films showing the pioneering work of various research institutions such as the Max Plank Institute. I have worked on many online projects, these often have viewing figures far greater than TV and demand the highest production values.

I am happiest when physically and mentally challenged in new and extreme environments and have been told I have a unique ability to make people feel relaxed and know the most important factors in any team are respect, confidence, and humour.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Editing your own camera work is a great way to hone your skills as it allows you to see the mistakes you have made and realise how things could have been done better, therefore facilitating continued learning. Getting on with the team is fundamental not only because you work together for long periods, but any contributor needs to be relaxed to allow them to open up and provide engaging documentary material. So a sense of humour and perspective are two of my most valued skills. When I am not working my interests are, out door adventures, wood work, and reading history and science.
