The Starfleet Registry THE STARFLEET REGISTRY RESEARCHED AND COMPILED BY JOHN W. BULLERWELL Introduction What you hold is perhaps the most comprehensive listing of the NCC- and NX- Federation Starfleet registration numbers ever created. Unfortunately, as comprehensive as it is, it is also confusing, error filled and riddled with mysteries. These numbers are from the entirety of fandom and canon. If you’re looking for a work of completely canon numbers and nothing else, this is not the document for you. Because the majority of these numbers come from fandom, there are a lot of discrepancies, and a lot of replication. There are numerous considerations I needed to make in compiling the list. For instance, I worked under the assumption that a ship with a lettered suffix (for example NCC-1234-C) is carrying a registry ‘tradition’, like the Enterprise. Therefore, if fandom listed a NCC-XXX-A U.S.S. No Name, I assumed the was a NCC-XXX (no suffix) No Name as well. While this is indeed very unlikely, I included them for the sake of completeness, as the original originator likely intended. Also, spellings in this document are intentional. If a ships name was Merrimac, I did not change it to Merrimack, or vice-versa. Again, it is assumed that the originator of the ship’s name/number intended their spelling to be correct. Some vessels had the same names and numbers, but were listed under two different class names. An example of this would be the Orka-class and the Clarke-class. Both classes had the same ships and numbers. I simply chose which class appeared in fandom first if I could determine it. Along these same lines, sometimes fandom has several different classes with the same names, often hundreds or thousands of numbers apart. I list both. A great number of registry numbers have several starships listed. I offer no explanation for this in the document, but one might assume that Starfleet did a lot of jostling with the numbers. In the case of duplicate ships with the same numbers, canon vessels are listed first. This work is a labour of love. But of course, I may have missed some numbers, and if so, I would ask that you contact me with corrections/additions at [email protected]. NCC-01 U.S.S. • Fleet Commander, Making Him an Important Figure Indeed
24th Cen. Thot Let Pann Breen Male Breen Confederacy Biography Through all their recent conflicts in the Alpha Quadrant, the Breen have come to rely on proven leaders to command their ships and soldiers. The Confederacy consolidates its trust in individuals like Thot Gor, the military leader pushing for an alliance with the Dominion, but Thot Pann is not far behind. As with all Breen, Starfleet’s report on Let Pann could be described as “incomplete” but only charitably. Star Trek Online. Truthfully, little is known beyond the leader’s name and his involvement in several key battles with other Alpha Quadrant species where Pann was the representative who communicated enough to demand Image from surrender. He is a thot, a rank considered to be equivalent to an admiral, and seems to excel at commanding ship’s in single-vessel or fleet maneuvers. Recent reports shared from the Cardassian Detapa Council, reportedly gathered first by the Obsidian Order, paint a slightly more detailed picture. The name “Let Pann” appears on the approved listing for a diplomatic summit organized by the Cardassians twenty years ago, a meeting which included a Breen delegation as well as representatives of the Tzenkethi Coalition and the Talarian Republic. At this meeting, Pann (then a lowly h’ren) is documented as a potential intelligence officer working to coordinate with the Tzenkethi. If true, it is possible that Thot Pann is still an intelligence officer as well as a fleet commander, making him an important figure indeed. Regardless of whether this report can be trusted or not, Thot Pann is certainly a skilled commander in fleet operations.

J.-L. Lagrange, UMR 7293 - Observatoire de la Cˆote d’Azur (OCA), Univ. de Nice-Sophia Antipolis (UNS), CNRS, Valrose, 06108 Nice, France Abstract. Achernar is a key target to investigate high stellar rotation and the Be phenonemon. It is also the hottest star for which detailed photospheric information is available. Here we report our results to determine the photospheric parameters of Achernar and evaluate how the emission of a Viscous Decretion Disk (VDD) around it would be observable. The analysis is based on interferometric data (PIONIER and AMBER at ESO-VLTI), complemented by spectroscopy and polarimetry for the circumstellar emission. For the first time fundamental parameters of a Be photosphere were determined. The presence of a residual disk at the quiescent phase and some characteristics of the new formed disk (2013 activity) are also discussed. This is rare opportunity to precisely determine the stellar brightness distribution and evaluate the evolution of a just formed Be disk. Keywords. stars: individual (Achernar), stars: fundamental parameters, techniques: interfero- metric, circumstellar matter, stars: emission-line, Be 1.

  • Appendix I Lunar and Martian Nomenclature
APPENDIX I LUNAR AND MARTIAN NOMENCLATURE LUNAR AND MARTIAN NOMENCLATURE A large number of names of craters and other features on the Moon and Mars, were accepted by the IAU General Assemblies X (Moscow, 1958), XI (Berkeley, 1961), XII (Hamburg, 1964), XIV (Brighton, 1970), and XV (Sydney, 1973). The names were suggested by the appropriate IAU Commissions (16 and 17). In particular the Lunar names accepted at the XIVth and XVth General Assemblies were recommended by the 'Working Group on Lunar Nomenclature' under the Chairmanship of Dr D. H. Menzel. The Martian names were suggested by the 'Working Group on Martian Nomenclature' under the Chairmanship of Dr G. de Vaucouleurs. At the XVth General Assembly a new 'Working Group on Planetary System Nomenclature' was formed (Chairman: Dr P. M. Millman) comprising various Task Groups, one for each particular subject.
