In addition, there is a program that is dedicated to the games industry in Bavaria.     December 17th, 2019 - Robert Patrick, Nick Stahl, Scott Haze, Kelli Garner, Jake Weber and Tony Hale star in Vincent Grashaw’s elevated psychological horror project What Josiah Saw Robert Patrick, Nick Stahl, Scott Haze, Kelli Garner, Jake Weber and Tony Hale are starring in the elevated genre film, What Josiah Saw, which just wrapped principal photography in Oklahoma, and is helmed by Vincent Grashaw (And Then I Go / Coldwater). Written by Robert Alan Dilts, the film tells the story of a family with buried secrets who reunite at a farmhouse after two decades to pay for their past sins. Plot details are being kept under wraps. “I felt if I was ever going to do a film which scared people it would need to be one grounded in a reality that was relatable. It was one of the most unique and terrifying scripts I’d ever read and I can’t wait to share this one with an audience,” says Grashaw. Randomix Productions’ Ran Namerode is producing alongside Beth Elise Hawk through her shingle, Gemini Girls Productions. “I chose WHAT JOSIAH SAW as our inaugural film project, because the script was so strong on the page. What Vincent did in his execution during production exceeds all expectations,” says Namerode. “We are humbled by the performances of this exceptional cast!” says Hawk. Bernie Stern and Vincent Grashaw are also producing. Angelia Adzic and Cole Payne are executive producers.     TO CODE AT HOME? orget the year. Voltair processor-induced questions about PPM encod- ing may be the biggest radio story of the last decade. Moving from di- Fary ratings to meter technology in 2007 was intended to remove much of the ambiguity from radio’s audience report card – at least in the top 50 markets. Programmers were confident in the technology and quickly adopted its les- sons, one of the most dramatic being listen- THE YEar’s ers’ aversion to talk. Spoken word formats saw declines and music format morning shows began upping their song count. And then Voltair came along. Introduced in mid-2014 by Telos, the TOP $15,000 processor was aimed at a previously unknown gap in PPM’s audio watermark- StORIES ing encoding. In short, its developers claimed that programming that was quiet, marked by silence or weak in a certain frequency range did a poor job of carrying PPM code – and that their box “enhanced the detectability.” Better encod- ing, the thinking went, meant better ratings. Radio’s response was swift. By summer 2015, hundreds of the units were in use. Even PDs who didn’t have Voltair were taking notice. “You see meter counts jump and think it’s a fluky week, but the next week it goes even higher,” one programmer told Country Aircheck. “When 6+ numbers jump two shares, that’s your first clue.” With many convinced Voltair was doing exactly what it proposed, questions turned to years of decision making based not on programming content, but its audio characteristics. “Where it gets [hairy] is when we decide not to do artist interviews and stay away from any longer talk seg- ment regardless of how compelling,” consultant Becky Brenner said in July.

    Like most people, as a kid Rocket Dog is a turbo- you probably wished for a charged animated series of sympathetic pet whose eleven-minute cartoons fiery rocket-butt gave her bounding squarely towards the power to fly. Good every seven-to eleven-year- thing for you your wish old who loves a good laugh never came true. (and to anyone who’s subversive enough to enjoy the mayhem caused by a certifiably insane canine). Bob is our human hero. A 12-year-old kid, he’s got those qualities you see in a lot of boys his age. He’s competitive, a bit gullible, believes he’s a natural leader (yet works himself to death to fit in), gets nervous around pretty girls, and is able to recognize godawful ideas only in hindsight. Bob would be well-satisfied to be seen as a natural leader but NO ONE with a shred of common sense will follow him. Rocket Dog follows him everywhere. Not that that’s a good thing. It’s those everyday things Bob wants—popularity, the like of a cute girl, racing bike—that are the drivers of our stories. In the long history of dogs, if ever there were a dependable, focused, proud, trustworthy, steadfast companion, it sure as heck isn’t Rocket Dog. (Maybe you’re thinking of her idol, screen star Bonnie?) Oh, sure, Rocket Dog is loyal to Bob—loyal to a neurotic, psychoballistic fault. It’s her over- zealous, frenzied, tongue-wagging determination to help get Bob what he wants that transforms his customary, dime-a-dozen days into epic, one-of-a-kind disasters.
