December 17th, 2019 - Robert Patrick, Nick Stahl, Scott Haze, Kelli Garner, Jake Weber and Tony Hale star in Vincent Grashaw’s elevated psychological horror project What Josiah Saw
Robert Patrick, Nick Stahl, Scott Haze, Kelli Garner, Jake Weber and Tony Hale are starring in the elevated genre film, What Josiah Saw, which just wrapped principal photography in Oklahoma, and is helmed by Vincent Grashaw (And Then I Go / Coldwater).
Written by Robert Alan Dilts, the film tells the story of a family with buried secrets who reunite at a farmhouse after two decades to pay for their past sins. Plot details are being kept under wraps. “I felt if I was ever going to do a film which scared people it would need to be one grounded in a reality that was relatable. It was one of the most unique and terrifying scripts I’d ever read and I can’t wait to share this one with an audience,” says Grashaw.
Randomix Productions’ Ran Namerode is producing alongside Beth Elise Hawk through her shingle, Gemini Girls Productions. “I chose WHAT JOSIAH SAW as our inaugural film project, because the script was so strong on the page. What Vincent did in his execution during production exceeds all expectations,” says Namerode. “We are humbled by the performances of this exceptional cast!” says Hawk.
Bernie Stern and Vincent Grashaw are also producing. Angelia Adzic and Cole Payne are executive producers.
Robert Patrick, repped by Gersh and Coronel Group, can currently be seen in The Laundromat film on Netflix and the upcoming Perry Mason series for HBO. He is best known as T-1000 in Terminator 2: Judgement Day becoming the first actor in history to to be motion captured, as FBI agent John Doggett in the X- Files in addition to starring roles in the CBS series The Unit and for five seasons he starred as Cabe Gallo on Scorpion. His film credits include Walk the Line, Bridge to Teribithia, Cop Land, and dozens of other notable titles.
Nick Stahl, repped by LINK Entertainment and Fuller Law, known for SIN CITY, TERMINATOR 3, and IN THE BEDROOM as well as HBO's CARNIVALE, recently starred in HUNTER HUNTER. He has also appeared in Richard Loncraine's MY ONE AND ONLY opposite Renee Zellweger and Kevin
Bacon, QUID PRO QUO alongside Vera Farmiga, and the Sundance favorite SLEEPWALKING alongside Charlize Theron, Woody Harrelson, and Dennis Hopper. Stahl can next be seen as the lead role in NIGHT BLOOMS.
Scott Haze is repped by CAA, Thruline Entertainment, and attorney Darren Trattner. He will next be seen in Fox Searchlight’s ANTLERS set for an April 17th release, A24’s MINARI, and 12 MIGHTY ORPHANS.
Kelli Garner, repped by Gersh and More/Medavoy, known for films such as Lars and the Real Girl and The Aviator, also starred as Marilyn Monroe in the critically acclaimed miniseries The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe and most recently could be seen on NBC’s The Enemy Within.
Jake Weber is repped by Peg Donegan and Kimberly Hines at Framework Entertainment and Barry McPherson at APA. He can currently be seen in Lionsgate’s MIDWAY, Netflix’s 13 REASONS WHY, and will next be seen in the Taylor Sheridan directed thriller, THOSE WHO WISH ME DEAD.
Tony Hale is repped by UTA and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, Newman, Warren, Richman, Rush & Kaller. Hale recently wrapped up his role as Gary Walsh in Veep, garnering two Emmy wins. He also voices Forky in the new Toy Story 4 film. His animated series, Archibald’s Next Big Thing is currently streaming on Netflix and is based on the children’s book he authored of the same name.
