History is Fr. Joseph Srampickal was ordained Bishop by Syro-Malabar Major Archbishop Cardinal George Alencherry in the presence of Bishop Michael Campbell. The Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, also known as St. Thomas Christians, is an Eastern made in Catholic Major Archiepiscopal Church in full communion with the Bishop of Rome.
