U17 Future Stars 2 Tournament Cheryl was awarded Team Athlete of the Year for her efforts in leading the Qantas Matildas to the quarter final in September’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Women’s 3 China. The Matildas were also rewarded with an all-time highest FIFA world A-League ranking of 12. FNSW Pathway 4 Ellyse had a remarkable 2007 debuting for the Matildas in August, appearing Program for the Young Matildas in their Asian qualifying campaign in October and having made her first appearance for the Australian women’s cricket team earlier in the U12 & U14 Girls 4 year.
