The H&R Block Artspace at the Kansas City Art Institute presents digital lounge

The H&R Block Artspace at the Kansas City Art Institute is pleased to announce digital lounge, a weekly program of screenings beginning on Thursday, July 29 continuing through Thursday, September 2, 2004. digital lounge presents curated programs of feature , documentaries on art and artists, and art- related genres including animation, narrative shorts, and videos. Screenings will occur weekly on Thursdays at 1:00pm, 3:30pm and 6:00pm, Fridays at 1:00pm and 3:30pm, and Saturdays at 1:00pm and 3:30pm. Each day of screenings will have a different program or theme; digital lounge is organized by the Artspace and guest curators.

The H&R Block Artspace at the Kansas City Art Institute is dedicated to presenting quality exhibitions of contemporary art and a range of public programs for a growing audience of students, educators, artists, arts enthusiasts, and the general public. For generous support of the 2003 – 2004 exhibition series at the Artspace, the Kansas City Art Institute gratefully acknowledges the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency, and the H&R Block Foundation. The Artspace is located at 16 East 43rd Street, one block east of Main Street.

A weekly schedule of digital lounge will be posted at the Artspace and is available by email, or for more information please call 816.561.5563. All digital lounge screenings are free and open to the public.
