On April 25, 1995, following extensive renovations and remodeling, the restaurant at the top of the CN Tower re-opened to critical acclaim with a newly appointed Chef’s team who would ensure the quality of the cuisine was every bit as spectacular as the view. And 360 has never looked back.

For almost two decades it has been winning awards for its cuisine, wine and ambiance and become a popular fine-dining and special event destination for Torontonians, dignitaries, celebrities and tourists alike. 360 Restaurant continues to hold its place as one of Toronto’s finest restaurants, featuring unforgettable food combined with an outstanding revolving view of Toronto more than 1,000 feet below. Executive Chef Peter George and his staff offer market-fresh cuisine, featuring regional ingredients to ensure an incomparable culinary experience. 360’s offers an award-winning wine selection of over 550 International and Canadian wines from its “cellar in the sky” the world’s highest wine cellar as designated by Guinness World Records. In 2011, 360 introduced an innovative wine preservation system to make the dining experience more memorable for guests. The new wine preservation system allows the restaurant to offer a varying selection of exclusive wines by the glass from its award winning selection of over 550 labels located in the World’s Highest Wine Cellar.

Located within the restaurant at a height of 351 metres (1151 ft.), it received the official Guinness World Record for World’s Highest Wine Cellar in November 2006. Created to resemble a classic underground wine cellar,

the cellar is a tribute to the finest European tradition complete with precision climate and humidity controls, redwood racks, double cherry doors, 9,000 bottle capacity and tasting table. To ensure that wine is stored in ideal conditions of 13 degrees Celsius (55 degrees F) and 65 percent relative humidity, a 2 1/2 ton, state-of-the-art, water-cooled cooling system was installed in the Cellar's ceiling.

360 holds one of the most extensive wine selections in Toronto, featuring more than 550 labels from around the world. Most of the wines are purchased through channels not normally accessible to the consumer and in this way 360 is able to assemble a collection with stellar choices for diners. The wine list features everything from $40 wines to priceless select vintages of the finest houses in the world.

This extensive and carefully maintained wine selection has earned 360 the distinction of a Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence (recipient since 1999) and it has also been a DiRoNA recipient since 1997 (Distinguished Restaurants of North America).

360 also features a progressive wine list, an easy-to-use system that lists wine by general order of taste, simplifying the selection process. Rather than listing wines by cellar or varietals, it lists them progressively by taste. Wines that taste similar are grouped together and patrons can choose their wine based on where it falls in relation to the other wines on the list. The progressive wine list is user friendly and takes the guesswork out of choosing wine. Patrons can easily match wines to dishes and can also experiment with new wines without straying too far from profiles of the ones they like most.”

Memorable Events The opening Oasis Gala turned 360 into a private Sultan’s tent with lavish décor and incredible food displays. It would usher in a new decade for the restaurant at the top of Canada’s landmark and soon a busy roster of corporate, political and charitable events would produce a number of highlights over the years including movie premieres and theatre production launches. At a reception for NATO Defense Ministers, 600 international guests were entertained. The 360 team meticulously selected food and matched wines and other beverages to ensure that guests would have a real sense of Canadian cuisine…A spectacular sunrise greeted contestants attending the CHFI Million Dollar Breakfast. The biggest radio promotion giveaway in history, this memorable breakfast concluded with a contestant winning $1 million!…The entire Look Out Level of the CN Tower glittered in gold when the venue was transformed into a giant goldmine for a reception by North American gold mining company Goldcorp. 360 The Restaurant at the CN Tower hosts over 500 events annually throughout the CN Tower’s multiple venues, perfect
