45 CUTTING HEAD TILE SAW-BLADE ALIGNMENT PROCEDURE
The Movable Cutting Table of the MK-770 may become misaligned with the Cutting Head of the Tile Saw over time. Should misalignment occur, perform the following steps to realign the Tile Saw.
NOTE: If alignment problems are the result of a warped blade, a bent frame or bent support arm, or, if alignment is off by more than 1/8-inch, contact the MK Diamond Service Center – (800) 474-5594 Tools Needed:
Combination Square (Square) 1/2-inch Wrench or Flat Head Screwdriver 12-inch or Greater MK Open End Wrench and MK Triple Hole Box Wrench
Metal Straight Edge 1/4-inch Wrench
Preparation: Disconnect Saw Inspect Frame Inspect Cutting Head
Remove Pan Inspect Cutting Table (A) (B) (C) Remove Tile Saw Remove Water Pan Inspect Tile Saw from Power Source for damage
Inspect Blade

Movable Cutting Table Alignment Verification: This will verify the Movable Cutting Table is aligned to the frame of the saw.
NOTES: If the blade is misaligned following alignment verification, attempt to align using Alignment Screw, 90º Verification. The Diamond Blade must be removed and reinstalled when removing the Blade Guard. Blade Guard Rotate Counter- Place Square Lock in clockwise to Loosen on Cutting Table Position
Adjust Square Blade Guard Place Straight- until Resting on Retaining Nut edge on Frame Straightedge (A) (B) (C) Remove Blade Guard Guide Bar side of Movable Guide Bar side of Movable Cutting Table, Height Cutting Table, Height Determination Setup Determination
Place Square Check for Gap Square 1/2-inch Rotate Counter- on Cutting Table Between Square Wrench clockwise to Loosen and Straightedge
Place Straight- Wheel Assembly edge on Frame Straightedge Retaining Bolts (D) (E) (F) Wheel Assembly side of Verify Wheel Assembly side of If Gap exists, loosen Movable Movable Cutting Table, Movable Cutting Table height Cutting Table Wheel Assembly Height Determination Setup is same as Guide Bar side
Check for No Gap Square 1/2-inch Rotate Clockwise Between Square Wrench to Tighten and Straightedge
Direction of Wheel Wheel Assembly Movement Assembly Straightedge Retaining Bolts (G) (H) (I) Move Wheel Assembly up or Re-Verify Wheel Assembly side of Tighten Movable Cutting Table down to Square the Movable Movable Cutting Table height Wheel Assembly Cutting Table is same as Guide Bar side

Alignment Screw, 90º Verification: 90º-alignment verification will ensure that the blade will cut the tile straight up and down and not at an angle.
NOTES: If the blade is misaligned following this alignment procedure, return the saw to MK Diamond for repair. The Diamond Blade must be removed and reinstalled when removing the Blade Guard. Rotate Counter- 90º Adjustment Rotate to Adjust clockwise to Loosen Screw (Lower Screw) Vertical Alignment
