International Bibliography 5 5 eum > scienze dell’educazione > repertori bibliografici International Bibliography of History of Education and Children’s Literature (2016) The present International Bibliography of History of Education and Children’s Literature about the year 2016 is the fifth of a serie, which has been published in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 on the international journal «History of Education & Children’s Literature» and concerned the seven years period 2010-2016; it was followed by the publication of four volumes about the same period. This specialized bibliographical overview includes researches and studies about the history of education edited around the world (articles published in journals, monographs, collections of essays, proceedings and textbooks). In order to build the present work tool, addressed in particular to the scholars of history of education and of children’s literature, it was necessary to go systematically through an outstanding quantity of national and international specialized publishers’ catalogues (historical studies, social and human sciences, educational sciences), as well as through the catalogues of almost 400 high specialized scientific reviews published in different countries of the world. Dorena Caroli (Faenza 1966) is associate professor in History of education at the Department of Education, Cultural Heritage and Tourism of the University of Macerata. She is member of the editorial coordination of the international International Bibliography of History Education and Children’s Literature (2016) scientific journal History of Education & Children’s Literature. She is author of several essays on the history of childhood, education and schooling in Russia/Soviet Union. Luigiaurelio Pomante (Teramo 1980), senior researcher in History of Education at the Department of Education, Cultural Heritage and Tourism of the University of Macerata, he received the title of Ph.D. in «Theory and History of Education» at the same university, where he worked in the activities of the «Center for Studies and documentation on the University history». Since 2010 he is managing editor of the international journal History of Education & Children's Literature. Miscellanea and monographs Introduction The present International Bibliography of History of Education and Children’s Literature about the year 2016 is the fifth of a serie, which has been published in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 on the international journal «History of Education & Children’s Literature» and concerned the seven years period 2010-2016; it was followed by the publication of four volumes about the same period. This specialised bibliographical overview includes researches and studies about the history of education edited around the world (articles published in journals, monographs, collections of essays, proceedings and textbooks). In order to build the present work tool, addressed in particular to the scholars of history of education and of children’s literature, it was necessary to go systematically through an outstanding quantity of national and international specialized publishers’ catalogues (historical studies, social and human sciences, educational sciences), as well as through the catalogues of almost 400 high specialized scientific reviews published in different countries of the world. This research is necessarily a work in progress, because of the difficulties, which are sometimes insurmountable, and intervening to every legitimate will of completeness and exhaustiveness in the searching of data retrieval. Notwithstanding the growing boost produced by internet and by social media to the globalization process, indeed, not always the web sites of publishers and of the scientific reviews (such as of those of the Universities and of the public and private research Centers) provide updated and exhaustive information (catalogues, bibliographical report, tables of contents of the issues etc.). It’s because of the difficulties encountered during the acquisition of precise data and sure information about the scientific production of this field concerning some particular countries and, consequently, the real necessity to have a broad net of collaborators in loco, that is a net of researches and scholars specialized in this field, who are available to offer a systematic information to «History of Education & Children’s Literature» of the most recent and relevant publications edited in their countries and, if necessary, to complete

    May 2019 Poles as Pigs in MAUS The Problems with Spiegelman’s MAUS Spiegelman’s representation of Poles as pigs is “a calculated insult” leveled against Poles. The Norton Anthology of American Literature, 7th edition Maus made me feel that Poland was somehow responsible for the Holocaust, or at least that many Poles collaborated in it.1 These materials were prepared for the Canadian Polish Congress by a team of researchers and reviewed for accuracy by historians at the Institute for World Politics, Washington, DC. 1. Background MAUS is a comic book – sometimes called a graphic novel – authored by American cartoonist Art Spiegelman. The core of the book is an extended interview by the author/narrator with his father, a Polish Jew named Vladek, focusing on his experiences as a Holocaust survivor. Although MAUS has been described as both a memoir and fiction, it is widely treated as non-fiction. Time placed it on their list of non-fiction books. MAUS is considered to be a postmodern book. It is a story about storytelling that weaves several conflicting narratives (historical, psychological and autobiographical). The book employs various postmodern techniques as well as older literary devices. A prominent feature of the book is the author’s depiction of 1 Seth J. Ze zrozumieniem, bez pouczania. Mówi o show-biznesie, celebrytach, współczesnych snobizmach, fobiach i modach. Tylko kilka zdań, a jest w tym ciepło, doświadczenie i życiowa mądrość. "A ja żem jej powiedziała, 1 Kaśka, szczęścia nie poudajesz" - mówi Nosowska. Nagle cała Polska zaczyna czekać na kolejny odcinek. "Zadałam sobie pytanie, co w tym zajęciu sprawia mi autentyczną przyjemność, na którym etapie działalności jestem najbardziej sobą, w sobie, czuję się bezpiecznie, a w okolicy serca wzrasta temperatura. Najszczersza z najszczerszych odpowiedzi brzmi - pisanie. Ten samotny moment, kiedy z chmary słów wyłapuję te, które najlepiej opowiedzą emocje. Jest to proces żmudny, momentami skrajnie wyczerpujący. Nie mam łatwości, którą legitymują się prawdziwi mistrzowie żonglerki słowem. Ja wysiaduję.

WOJCIECH GUZEWICZ) Napisanie artykułu o całokształcie dorobku naukowego ks. prof. dr. hab. Woj- ciecha Guzewicza jest i łatwe, i trudne. Łatwe o tyle, że sam uczony systematycznie sporządza i co pewien czas publikuje podsumowania swojego pisarstwa. W Inter- necie dostępne są dwa artykuły ze „Studiów Ełckich”: jeden z 2013 r. zawierający 431 tytułów (Wykaz publikacji ks. prof. dra hab. Wojciecha Guzewicza za lata 1993–2012, „Studia Ełckie” 3(2013), s. 419–444) i drugi z 2019 r. – zawierający 233 tytuły (Wykaz publikacji ks. prof. dra hab. Wojciecha Guzewicza za lata 2013-2017, „Studia Ełckie” 1(2019), s. 119–132), a w poszczególnych książkach Profesora można znaleźć zestawienia opublikowanych wcześniej prac. Tytuły z lat 1992–2017 zamieszczone zostały także w książce Talent i trud. Potencjał naukowy duchowieństwa diecezji ełckiej w latach 1992–2017 (Wydawnictwo UWM, Olsztyn 2021). Niniejszy artykuł uzupełnia te dane bibliograficzne o lata 2018–2020. Jednocześnie wpisuje się w schemat artykułów o potencjale naukowym księży diecezji ełckiej publikowanych w czasopismach „Civitas et Lex”, „Studia Teologiczne” oraz „Studia Ełckie”, schemat opracowany właśnie przez ks. prof. Guzewicza, owoc budowanego przez lata warsztatu badacza, bardzo ułatwiający pracę nad uporządkowaniem rozległego i zróżnicowanego pisarstwa. Bibliografia nie zawiera wykazu wywiadów, wspomnień, tłumaczeń (wiadomo, iż dokonał ponad 50 takich tłumaczeń, głównie na język niemiecki), natomiast w części są zebrane recenzje wydawnicze, recenzje naukowe oraz artykuły po- pularnonaukowe (ze względu na rozproszenie tych tekstów trudno jest zebrać wszystkie). W sumie zaprezentowany tu dorobek obejmuje ponad 800 pozycji.

Non vi nascondo di averci pensato per molto tempo, dubbioso, circa i tanti aspetti su cui avrei dovuto soffermarmi e una delle domande che mi sono subito posto è stata: ma oltre alla figura di padre modello che io conoscevo, cos'altro conosco della vita di mio padre? E qui ho avuto delle perplessità ..... sì dico perplessità perché tutti i padri presumo hanno un determinato comportamento con i figli, dettato dal ruolo, c'è chi lo fà con più severità e chi meno, chi è pedante e chi meno, chi è accondiscendente e chi meno e via dicendo ma sicuramente tutti si apprestano a svolgere questo compito basilare con uno sconfinato e immenso amore !!! Ma un padre oltre a questo è anche un “uomo”ed è proprio il profilo umano, di uomo tra gli uomini, che mi ha portato ad iniziare questo lavoro, oserei dire di ricerca, esegetico, di tutti gli scritti e archiviazioni varie che con pazienza e passione certosina egli aveva iniziato ed implementato nei vari anni della sua vita. Ho avuto la fortuna di crescere in una famiglia molto unita, sotto tutti gli aspetti. Mio padre apparteneva a quelle belle famiglie di una volta, numerose: erano otto figli, madre, padre e “zizì” a carico (una zia di mia padre, sorella minore di mia nonna, la quale viveva sotto lo stesso tetto a causa di lievi problemi invalidanti) e come tradizione comanda, tutti i figli maschi e dico tutti nessuno escluso, hanno ereditato dal padre l'arte della lavorazione del legno.

O jakich wartościach przypomina oraz do jakich po- staw zobowiązuje tych, którzy w sposób systematyczny, zorganizowany we wspólnotach parafialnych pomagają ubogim i potrzebującym wspa r- cia? Czego może ich nauczyć prosta i pobożna żo na, matka, wdowa i te- ściowa? Święci a „formacja serca” wolontariuszy Omawiając specyfikę i zadania kościelnych organizacji charyt a- tywnych, Benedykt XVI zwrócił uwagę na konieczność troski o „form a- cję serca” ich pracowników i wolontariuszy. Pisał na temat Caritas: „Gdy chodzi o posługę spełnianą wobec cierpiących, potrzeba przede wszystkim kompetencji profesjonalnych: niosący pomoc powinni być przygotowani w taki sposób, aby potrafili robić to, co właściwe we wł a- ściwy sposób, podejmując wysiłek dalszej troski. Au début, une Bibliographie pour la période 1945-1968, avait paru chez “Ossolineum”, en 1971, sous les aus­ pices de l’institut d’Histoire de l’Académie Polonaise des Sciences. Elle fut suivie d’autres bibliographies pour les périodes 1969-1973, 1974-1978, 1979-1982 et 1983-1987, toutes parues dans la revue “Acta Poloniae Historica”, volumes 32 (1975), 41 (1980), 50 (1984) et 60 (1989). La Bibliographie comprend principalement les travaux parus de 1988 à 1993, mais elle prend note également de publications antérieures qui ne figurent pas dans les volumes précédents. Elle procède par classification thématique et s’assortit d’un index des titres de revues auquel renvoient les abréviations figurant dans les descriptions bibliographiques, et, bien enten­ du, d’index des auteurs, des éditeurs, des rédacteurs et des titres d’ouvrages collectifs. JAN WALKUSZ Z DZIEJÓW PRZYGOTOWANIA DO KAPŁAŃSTWA W KOŚCIELE KATOLICKIM Aczkolwiek prawdą jest, iż dopiero Sobór Trydencki wprowadził ujed- nolicony, wspólny dla całego Kościoła system przygotowania i formacji kan- dydatów do kapłaństwa1, nie znaczy to wcale, że w wiekach wcześniejszych nie przywiązywano wagi do tego zagadnienia. Potrzebę bowiem określenia pewnych norm w tym względzie i bliżej sprecyzowanych wymogów odczu- wano już w starożytności chrześcijańskiej, co niewątpliwie świadczy o poczu- ciu odpowiedzialności biskupa za należyte przygotowanie kadr przewodni- ków duchowych. W takim duchu m. in. działał św. Euzebiusz z Vercelli, który jako pierwszy na Zachodzie wprowadził wspólne życie duchowieństwa na wzór życia zakonnego (swego rodzaju pierwowzór przyszłych seminariów duchownych)2, czy św. Augustyn, prowadzący podobną praktykę3, a nade wszystko synody hiszpańskie z VI i VII w., określające zasady funkcjono- wania tzw. szkół biskupich4.
