Since the 12-team playoff format was adopted in 1990, at least four teams have qualified for the playoffs in every season that were not in the postseason the year before. Five teams that missed the playoffs in 2013 advanced to the 2014 playoffs.

@NFLhistory: More than half (17 of 32) of 2015 KO Weekend starting QBs are under 30
17 of the 32 starting quarterbacks on Kickoff Weekend rosters begin the season under the age of 30.
There were also 17 starting quarterbacks under the age of 30 in Week 1 last season. In 2013, 20 starters were under 30 years old for Kickoff Weekend.

On Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, led by 2015 No. 1 overall pick QB JAMEIS WINSTON, will host the Tennessee Titans and No. 2 overall pick QB MARCUS MARIOTA. It will mark the first time in NFL history that quarterbacks drafted with the top two picks will start against one another in Week 1 of their rookie years.

@NFLfootballinfo: Kickers converted 93.1% of extra points this preseason (203-218) compared to 99.3% in 2014 reg-sea (1222-1230)
Among the new rules for the 2015 season, the extra point attempt will now be snapped from the 15-yard line. Two point-conversions will remain at the two-yard line. Additionally, the defense will be able to return a blocked kick, interception or fumble for two points.
In the 2015 preseason, kickers converted 93.1% of extra points from the 15-yard line, compared to 99.3% of attempts from the two-yard line in the 2014 regular season.
