On behalf of both myself personally, and the Symphony Orchestra, I would like to endorse Western ’s Theatre’s application for a Liquor Primary at the Sagebrush Theatre.

As one of the frequent tenants of the venue, Kamloops Symphony patrons mention time and time again how nice it would be for them to enjoy a alcoholic beverage along with their symphony performances. Allowing for the permanent consumption of alcohol in the venue would allow us greater flexibility in the experiences we can offer our patrons, and help us remove some of the of the barriers to entry and change misconceptions of classical music.

Given the short timelines surrounding our performances and the consumption of alcohol, I also foresee minimal negative effects of allowing a liquor license on the premises and therefore endorse this application.

Thank you,

For your records, our Business Address is as follows:

Hello.

We are performing at the Sagebrush Theatre in 2021. We respectfully submit that the Sagebrush (like all other theatres we perform at in BC — eg. Kelowna, Vernon, , North , Victoria, etc.) should be permitted to sell alcohol beverages at concert events.

Please reply if you have any questions or concern.

Hello, I'm emailing in support of Western Canada Theatre and their efforts to secure a liquor licence for the Sagebrush Theatre. Events like performances bring people together to talk, to laugh, to simply enjoy their time together. The ability to have a glass of wine or beer (and support this local economy) adds to the celebratory nature of Sagebrush events. My family and I also live eight houses down from the Theatre. I appreciate that people park in front of my home and walk to the Theatre and I have no concerns that people will over imbibe and then drive home. Society has changed and the days of "having one for the road" are as old as thinking that a cigarette is good for your health. I trust our community will act responsibly if alcohol is served at the Sagebrush and I appreciate WCT's efforts to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Respectfully, Margaret Chrumka 959 Munro Street, Kamloops, BC To: Date: 2020-02-24 1:25 PM Subject: Support for WCT Liquor Primary application - Sagebrush Theatre.

Hello, I understand Western Canada Theatre is submitting an application for a Liquor Primary at the Sagebrush Theatre, and I send this email in support of this application. As an attendee, I would love to enjoy a glass of wine at their various events and performances. I hope they are successful with their application. Mallory Johnson 930 Nicola St Kamloops, BC V2C 2R9 To: Date: 2020-02-24 2:38 PM Subject: Liquor license for Wct

Greetings Mayor and Council In the hopes of a favourable outcome for tomorrow’s meeting I am writing you to express my support for this application. As you are aware we rely on many fundraising approaches to balancing our annual budget. Revenue obtain from the sale of liquor in the Sagebrush at events is one of the ways we can obtain extra revenue. In many cities the sale of liquor in the lobby is pleasant for those attending performances. I think the venue is appropriate for liquor sales. Please consider this proposal favourably Yours truly

**Important message from the IT Department** Potential Virus! Please only open attachments from known email addresses. I personally would be pleased to see the application for Western Canada Theatre’s Liquor license be approved. I understand the tight budgets that these community organizations have and see this as an opportunity to enhance their revenues and be able to provide even greater events in the future.

In addition, I feel that being able to share a glass of wine or beer before, during the intermission or after an event would be an enjoyable and enhance the theatre experience.

Thanks for your consideration of this matter. My residential address is 2246 Crescent Drive, Kamloops.
