To whom it may concern,

As someone who works in Market Square, as well as someone who frequented Hush, I encourage the transfer of the liquor license from Hush to Inllniti,

Additionally, as someone who is 30, loves to dance but hates going to clubs with 19 year olds, I believe this concept is exactly what Victoria needs and will of value to one of the most undeserved demographics in this city.

To whom it may concern,

Hello my name is Herb Hamilton and I'm writing to show support for the transfer of Hush' liquor license. I live in Duncan and we used to drive to Victoria at least three times a month for 15 years to go and dance and listen to great artists play great music in a positive environment. Since Hush has closed it's doors we have not been interested in going out in your great city since we aren't into being around rowdy drunks who cause problems and have no respect for others and the staff. It would also he great to have a venue that is not filled with a bunch of young people who are just out to get wasted and pick up someone for the night. That's why we drive all the way to Victoria to avoid that kind of atmosphere in Duncan. I believe the new location geared towards an older crowd is a space that is greatly needed in your city.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Regards, Herb Hamilton

To ail parties concerned,

The closure of nightclub HUSH was a sad event for the city of Victoria. The bad news was tempered by the intention of the proprietors to move to a new location, INFINITE at Market Square. My wife and I used to go downtown for dinner often before a night out at HUSH, and since we no longer have dancing to look forward too, rarely go downtown. Victoria nightlife had in HUSH a venue for older, more mature clientele, who had very few incidents involving violence, or the need for police to attend. Other clubs in the city tend to be youth oriented and just don't have the same vibe as HUSH did. Hush had more of a community feel, which would transfer to Infiniti if given a chance. It is time to transfer the liquor licence from HUSH to INFINITI, one block away, and in the exact same neighborhood.

To whom it may concern; I am writing to express my opinion about the application for Hush Nightclub to transfer it's liquor license from it's current location to the former Sweet Waters venue located in Market Square,

I have seen the application and feel that the this new venue will definitely help fill a void in Victoria's current nightlife. As someone who likes to go out on occasion, i have found it impossible to find a place that I feel comfortable in since Hush Nightclub closed it's doors. I believe the owners will offer the community a venue that will cater to open-minded mature adults both inside and outside the 6BIT community as they had done so successfully with it's predecessor, Hush Nightclub.

Victoria needs diversity in it's nightlife I feel that infiniti will definitely fill a void that this city is lacking. Please approve the.transfer of the Hush Nightclub liquor license to the proposed Market Square venue and give us old folks a place to boogie again.

As a female in my mid thirties, Victoria is lacking in establishments outside of the brew pub and restaurant scene. Yes, we have places where we cart enjoy one of our city's fine craft brews, indulge in a well prepared meal, or have tapas after work. However, myself and my friends do not have an establishment to enjoy a nightclub atmosphere. The nightlife is now geared towards the university crowd, an age group between 19 25. Establishments cater to this age group and I feel our demographic is being left out after Hush closed. Hush was a welcome and safe place, accepting of the LGBT community, all ages, genders and always had a positive aunosphere. I would fully welcome and support that type of establishment again. Myself and the girls need a place to go where we feel safe and have a dance off again!

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Hello. I'm emailing in order to express my support of the transfer of Jack Weeks' Bar-located in Market Square. I, and many of my friends and colleagues, look forward to the opening of this adult-oriented bar. Such a bar will be a great asset to Victoria. I love the prospect of a safe and fun bar, geared toward adults and run by someone I trust, opening up downtown. Thanks so much, Andrea Katz.

To the Victoria City Council,

I am writing in support of the prospective new owner/operators of the proposed new nightclub "Infiniti". I urge council to approve the transfer of the license from the now closed "Hush" nightclub to this new venue. Since Hush's closing, there has been an hole in the city's nightclub scene, and those of us who are more mature are left with no where to go that has the atmosphere we are seeking, Hush was a well run club and I miss going there to dance and socialize, I have faith that this new venue in Market Square will exceed expectations as a vibrant addition to downtown Victoria's nightlife. Please add my vote of support to the many who trust in the owners of this new venture.

Sincerely, Stacey Ness Registered Animal Health Technologist Resident and home owner in the City of Victoria 950 Mason Street Victoria BC, V8T 1A2

You .have received an email from Confidential via the City of Victoria website feedback form

Name: Confidential Topic: Permits and Inspections Phone: Confidential Address: 620 Johnson Street Message: February 11,2015 City Council City of Victoria c/o Legislative Services 1 Centennial Square 250.361.0571 liquorlicence@victoria,ca RE: To inform the public of the application to transfer Liquor Primary License to #27-560 Johnson Street for Infiniti Nightclub (606326 BC Ltd.), Inc. Dear Mayor and Council Members: We opposed to the Notice of Application to transfer a Liquor Primary License of Infiniti Nightclub (606326 BC Ltd.), Inc. to #27-560 Johnson Street (due to misrepresentation of themselves). As most businesses in the down town core suffer from the financial economic times we all know how difficult it is to survive in Victoria. All nightclubs in the city have taken a loss in the number of clientele through their doors and the loss of sales opportunities. Businesses of all types are struggling for the dollars just to stay afloat and serve through the difficult financial period that pelages us all. It is strange that the club Infiniti formerly known as Hush is stating that they will cater to the 30+ age group and to return to a LGBT community based club when in the past (approximately 15 + years ago) they in fact had been an LGBT club and changed to a straight club bringing all types of problems including drugs/over dosing to the scene and not a favorable police track record. For Infiniti to market themselves only to the 30+ and an LGBT club isn't a viable strategy and it makes one wonder if this is a ploy to get the license and once the license is approved to go back to the same old scene? Any mainstream night club needs to market themselves to all clientele from 19+ and to all demographics of people not specifically the LGBT community! Victoria camiot sustain more than one LGBT club as this has been proven in the past. For example numerous LGBT clubs opened their doors and within two years they closed. The city is diverse and the LGBT community

l is accepted in all clubs. The only LGBT community night club that has served through the years is Paparazzi Nightclub and welcomes everyone no matter their sexual orientation. LGBT clubs from the past: Sky Bar - Store Street now Modem Home Design Store Electric Avenue - Store Street Swans Hotel Queen's Head — Esquimalt now Carlton Club Rumors - 1325 Government: Street Pals - 1325 Government Street Tre Shiek - 1325 Government Street The Paisley - Esquimalt Copper Club - Paul's Motor Inn Q Bar - Paul's Motor Inn The Castle - Paul's Motor Inn The Ledge - Bedford Regency Hotel Paparazzi Nightclub (formerly Prism Lounge, B.J's and Pals) - 642 Johnson Street Best Western Carlton Plaza Plus Hotel We therefore do not oppose to the application to transfer of the Liquor Primary license to #27 - 560 Johnson Street as long as they don't misrepresent themselves.

Thank you for your consideration,

Hi there!

I am for the transfer of Hush nightclub to Market Square. Looking so forward to having an establishment for adults to enjoy! Many have missed the sense of community and positivity that Hush once had. We've grown and it would be wonderful to reconnect with one another through dance and music!

Hi there,

This email is regarding the possibility of the nightclub Infiniti, previously named Hush, which could open up in Market Square, I think that having a nightclub in Market Square will increase Victoria's entertainment options. Not only do we need more adult orientated entertainment downtown but with the possible potential of Infiniti nightclub opening up, it would really liven up Victoria's downtown core and help bring in added exposure and more entertainment options for residents and tourists.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope that it help weigh in on the decision to open Infiniti nightclub in Market Square,

Hello!

I would like to voice my support for the transfer of Hush night-clubs' licence to their new location called "Infiniti" at Market Square.

Hush was always a more adult-themed night club and I feel like there isn't a place in town to hear the kind of music the Hush curated and still have a place to dance.

I'm 32, not into the current nightclub scene in Victoria, but miss going out and listening to great underground . I look forward to the new spot opening up and hope they are successful in their new endeavour.

Thank you for your time.

Please accept this email as my support for the addition of a new club in the downtown area catering to an adult clientele. As a frequent patron of Hush, I have absolute confidence that the owners of the proposed Inifiniti will do an amazing job, and one of the primary reason I do not frequent the nightclubs downtown right now is because Hush is absent. Having Inifiniti join the downtown area will encourage me to go to the downtown area and support a local nightclub on a regular basis.

I hope that we can see them open soon, and fully support the opening of a new club.

Thank you for your time.
