I couldn't get transportation to get my second covid shot in a timely manor. Had a friend finally that stepped in. Sidewalks are awful for people all over our city for people in wheelchairs & scooters., Better pay for Metro Corrections., Cameras and shot spotter, Cameras to monitor traffic at stop lights and stop signs, Clean up the streets on the west and south side, Cleaning the central business district, Climate change. Clean energy., Collaboration/Sustainability, Community Amenities in under served areas for example the Shawnee Outdoor Learning Ctr. This is a shovel ready, educationally supportive option for youth., Community center programming, Community Cultural - Arts – Improvements, Community Organizations, COURTS, Crime prevention, Disconnected youth and young adults who have not graduated, Education, education and school age children, Education overall not just early education, Emergency supported shelter for houseless community members, Employees wages/ hazard pay for the pandemic, EMS, Ending homelessness for young adults (18-24), Environmental deserves its own category, Environmental issues, Equitable pay for Louisville Free Public Library workers, Equity initiatives, Essential pay for essential workers, Eviction prevention, EXCELLENT Girls / boys clubs - LOTS of them, FIRST RESPONDERS (EMS, POLICE,FIRE, HEALTH PEARTMENT, Food insecurity, Freedom of religion, Funding all Law enforcement properly to keep streets, jails safe., Funding for Metro Corrections, Funds for the police, Get rid of the homeless, gun safety, health equity, Heathcate: mental health service workers., Help for the Elderly, Help homeless people, High speed internet access for all. It has to be considered a utility and available for everyone. I live outside Gene Snyder in Jefferson County. Can barely get on line to pay bills., Historical Preservation, Home repairs and mortgage assistance, Homeless, Homeless and ways to combat, Homeless, Housing First, Homelessness, Homelessness, Homelessness issues, Homes for the houseless community, Housing, Housing for homeless, Housing for the homeless, Housing grants for upgrades and assistance to elderly/0ver 55, Housing provides dignity, how about giving funds to the businesses that were most drastically negatively impacted by the shut down - hotels, nail salons, alteration businesses, etc, Human Trafficking; also getting PFAS chemicals out of our drinking water and wastewater., I think that the front line health care workers need to be compensated for their time off work if the contracted Covid-19. For many of our front line workers were forced to use vacation & personal time if they wanted to receive a pay check for their time, If the applicable regs. allow, set some aside for Metro's rainy day fund., Improved bus routes and availability. Could we think ahead and build a local transit system that does not put automobiles first? Pedestrian and bicycle access and safety. More sidewalks, crosswalks, multiuse paths, increased pay for all of government workers, Internet Access in the Westend and outlying rural areas., Invest in organizations that prevent crime and violence, Invest in renewable energy industry to create good jobs, improve public health, and increase the viability and sustainability of our city long-term., Law enforcement, Libraries are awesome but I could only pick three., Local Food Systems/Food Security, Lost and Homeless animals of Jefferson County, Low interest loans for homeowners to fixup theirs homes, Maintenance/ clean up, Maternal mental health, Mental Health, Mental Health & Wellness, Mental health and substance abuse intervention, Metro Corrections, Metro government workers, micro and small business development, Money available for small businesses to receive at least $50,000.00 or more., Money to weatherize homes in the West end to decrease energy usage and make older homes warmer, More community centers across Louisville with consistent and free activities and tutoring for youth, More police and corrections, more, police in high crime areas, Multiple use housing and retail developments, Murder rate, Need to get rid of all the one way streets that go through residential areas, Nice park in pleasure ridge park with a walking track would be great , flood wall is hot and not safe to walk. There are no parks in pleasure ridge with walking , running area., Open up top of Iroquois Park, Opportunity Youth, Our district boundaries, Outdoor spaces that are safe free and accommodating are a must. We need safe spaces for drug users like we need safe spaces for children. Everyone deserves to be cared for, Parent Education for Prevention, Parental education, Paristown Green, pave roads, lock up criminals, Pave side, Pay business downtown owners for their losses due to riots and looting during protests. They well deserved this as the LMPD were not allowed to protect them., Pay the ESSENTIAL WORKERS, Paying people their unemployment benefits that have been waiting a year without payment!, Paying Waste Management employees with bonuses because they’ve been on the frontlines since the start of the pandemic!!!, Pension fund debt, People, Permanent Supportive Housing for Homelessness, Police, Fire & EMS, Poor needs a rv and campground program like section 8, increase on ssi n disability checks, and monthly stimulus checks til pandemic is over., Premium pay, Premium pay for Employees, Private schools should be given some funds, Proper care and security for the homeless, Providing incentives to government workers that have continuously worked through the pandemic and staffing shortages., Providing living accomodations for the mentally infirm. Gets them off streets, Safer for them and general public. Reduces homeless problem. Improves safety of general public., public education - all levels, Public Education…..free college, Public health - mental health resources, Public safety investments must be made in gun violence reduction, healing from violence, and diversion and other alternatives to militarized, racialized policing, Public Transportation and Sidewalks, rec sports for ages 5 to 13, RECOVERY COURT - reuniting children and their parents., Redevelopment of UGC with Thrive Center,neighborhood grocery,nurse and physical therapy training,senior affordable housing, Reparations, reward city workers who never skipped a beat and kept this city running through the pandemic., Riverboat Company, SAFETY!! Metro salaries increased and training. Corrections Facilities improved and expanded., Senior luxury affordable housing, Setting up a public bank, Shawnee Outdoor Learning Center, small business, social housing like community land trusts, Solar and win power energy, solar voltaic panels powered recharging stations in parking lots for electric cars., Special Events designed to bring the entire community together. Events are a great uniter, a leveler of the playing field and can add much to a community, to a neighborhood. Arts, education, discovery all await., Startups Funding, Student Loans, Support for those with disabilities and seniors., Supporting disconnected/opportunity youth, Supporting Local Businesses that YOU failed to protect during the Riots. Bringing Downtown back., TARC, Tax relief, The above items as they specifically relate to young adults 18-26 years old, The Watterson expressway is a landfill. City just finished construction but the company didn’t clean up the mess they left behind. The city needs to focus on cleaning up the trash/environment.
