VDA-M is an initiative aimed at delivering increased capability to Australian Defence by promoting collaboration between Victoria’s strong Defence based industry and Defence Primes and others looking for contractors with the right ability and attitude required to meet the demands of Defence supply. VDA-M presents a real opportunity for Defence Primes and other organisations involved in Maritime projects to approach one coordinated body with a strong network within Victoria that will enable them to focus their efforts on supply chain opportunities and defence capability development. VDA-M also provides a unique platform for networking and brings together specialist companies to collaborate and drive innovation across all Defence Maritime Systems including the important Submarine sector. The participation of many leading companies in VDA-M is testimony to the depth and diversity of the Maritime and Submarine capability based in Victoria. VDA-M aims to become the essential first port of call for all industries seeking advanced Defence capability for manufacturing and sustainment. I invite all those interested in Maritime projects to support those companies that are featured in this publication.
