Last Updated: 25 May 2006 Scope msms is a colloquium where present scientific activities and results will be discussed in an informal atmosphere. It continues the tradition of the previous events held in Kocovce (1994), Lednice (1996), Senec (1998), Velke Losiny (2000), Smolenice (2002), and Vsemina (2004).

The main aim is to disseminate recent achievements from the field of Mössbauer effect techniques applied to materials studies. It should contribute to know-how transfer from leading scientists towards young researchers and PhD students and to provide direct contact among experts with the aim to initiate possible mutual collaboration. Venue

The colloquium will be held in a ancient land lord mansion house in Kocovce (see the road map), 5 km East of Nove Mesto nad Vahom. The latter is situated about 100 km North-East of Bratislava. A shuttle bus will be organized for the participants of msms06.

Transportation between Bratislava and Kocovce will be organized on June 11, 2006 in the afternoon (departure at about 4 p.m. from Bratislava) and on June 15, 2006 (departure at about 9 a.m.). Please inform me if you need the transportation and/or on the details on your arrival to Bratislava/Kocovce (approximate time of arrival and means of transportation). Place and exact time of the shuttle to Kocovce will be communicated to those who will use it well in advance.
