Lou Adler, of Billings, is considered “The King of the One Armed Bandits.” In Winifred, we followed a young boy through what may be the world’s largest collection of Tonka toys. And in Three Forks we Ray Ekness videotapes Frank Gebhardt in his Kalispell met a man who collects Montana stories for his weekly magazine column. He passed away in 2014 at 95, having completed more than 200 paintings and many sculptures and carvings. His work includes beautiful and sometimes graphic illustrations of our disregard for the earth and her many creatures.
