[Earlier editions titled Introduction to the Study of the Greek Dialects. (Boston: Ginn & Company; 1910, 1928). Many parts of the 1955 text are unchanged from the 1910 edition. It is still perhaps the clearest outline of dialectal grammar ever published, but not always clear on historical explanations, there are occasionally mistakes in analysis, and some sections are now over a century out of date.] HOFFMANN, Otto. 1891–1898.
