RE: Caring and Sharing

Dear Lindsey:

With the craziness of the holidays now behind us I am just now sitting down to send off some overdue correspondence. On behalf of the staff, volunteers and patrons of the Church of Saint Thomas More we want to express our heartfelt thanks for all that went into running the food chive. We can’t thank you and all those who made this event happen and that extends to the wonderful people of Dover and surrounding communities who stepped up to your challenge.

The food we received helped us to fill the 70 basket requests at Thanksgiving and then again 50 baskets at Christmas as well as filling out our depleted shelves during that time. It was so heartwarming to walk into the food pantry and not be faced with nearly bare shelves.

Your station is truly one of the fiont runners in reaching out into the community to help our less fortunate citizens. Thank you again for all that you do.

Very truly yours,

Co-Chair, St. Thomas More Food Pantry Page 1 of 1

On behalf of the Strafford County Republicans I want to extend my heartfelt thanks and appreciation for an absolutely wonderful time at the luncheon on Thursday at the Weathervane Restaurant.

This was such a unique and fun-filled experience for our committee that someone even asked when we were going to start the business meeting! I told them our only order ofbusiness was to enjoy ourselves, visit, and enjoy a delicious meal. What a treat!

The staff at the Weathervane did a superb job of making us feel special and providing us excellent service. They even made fiesh coffee for us which was excellent. I know the maple broiled salmon I had was probably the best I've tasted and it certainly looked liethose who had the lazy man's lobster and fried smelts were very pleased with their meals too.

Please extend our thanks and gratitude to all the folks at WTSN an the Weathervane Restaurant. Our only regret was that the snow and the flu kept more people from coming who I howwould have enjoyed it as much as we did.

Hi Lindsey -

I am so mad at myself for not reaching you sooner ...my sincere apologies

Thank you VERY MUCH for making time out of your busy morning to conduct the interview with UNO GM, Mike Brieger, last Wednesday. Though I didn't hear the call personally, I know that a number of people did ....and they came out to show their support. The day raised just over $400 for CVHS - and UNO has invited us back to do it again. They offered monthly, we opted for quarterly - so the next will be in June.

During our phone call last week, we touched briefly about having you and The Bay join us as our media sponsor for the upcoming 2nd Annual Summer Fun &Craft Fair Festival, being held in Barrington at Calefs Field on Saturday, July 14th. We would love to partner with you for this very successful event, which saw an estimated 600-800 attendees last year and raised nearly $8,000. This year promises to be bigger and better.

Pleae call me at your earliest opportunity - phone # below. I'm here Mon-Fri from 9am to 5:30pm ....though I will be out next Thursday & Friday (4112 & 13) for a long weekend with my in-laws (thank goodness I love them :).

Hope to talk with you soon!

Regards, candi

Dear Lindsey and Jeff,

Thank you for taking the time to attend The McClelland Idol on Friday night. Your presence as judges was so impressive to the students and parents and me. It was like celebrity night!! I also appreciate all the broadcasting you did for us during the week. The attendance at the show was outstanding. Events like the Sub Supper and McClelland idol are examples of how parents get together and support the school. I am so grateful to the McClelland PTA and supporters, A special thanks to Mr. Smith, Mr. Molinaro and Mr. Allen for organizing the staging and lighting and broadcasting, And a big thanks to all the parents back stage.

Dear Lindsey,

On behalf of the staff and board of The Children's Museum of Portsmouth, I'd like to thank your stations for the tremendous support provided to our 22"* annual Road Race & Children's Fun Run on May 5th. We attracted a record number of participants for both races (618 total), and I know your on-air and on-line promotion was definitely a part of that success.

I will be sending you a bunch of the photos I took. You are not in all of them but the yellow balloons are in nearly every one of the 78 pictures I shot that day! I did talk to our director after the race about her issue with balloons. She has strong feelings about balloons being a danger to wildlife, plus the museum is initiating more stringent efforts to be environmentally responsible, so she does not feel that we should have balloons at our events. Unfortunately, she did not raise this with me before the event so I didn't know she would have a problem with balloons being distributed. We will have to talk about this before next year's race to be sure we're all on the same page and to look at alternatives for station promotion.

It was great working with you again and we look forward to teaming up next year when we plan to move the race to Dover. We will be working with city and chamber officials to plot out a course and choose a date that won't conflict with other races or long-standing local events. We'll be in touch when we have a plan.

We hope that you consider being a part of Uncorked! in May 2007. We believe it promises to become the showcase event for restaurants and area businesses in the Greater York area.

Dear Lindsey,

I am writing belatedly, to thank you for your participation and generous support of the first Pan Mass Challenge (PMC) Kids Ride for the seacoast of NH. We appreciate immensely the time and energy you and Jonathon gave and no doubt, your high spirits and balloons brought great delight to our many PMC participants. It was indeed a remarkable morning in every respect, far exceeding our wildest dreams and expectations for a first time event. Clearly the over 200 children participating, had a wonderful and fun experience, in addition to working so hard pedaling away, to do their part in battling cancer. With upwards of $23,000 already raised, we could not be more proud of each and everyone who helped make our New Castle Ride such a success. On behalf of the Pan Mass Challenge and Dana Farber Cancer Institute, I thank you sincerely for your support. You are critical and most important spokes in our wheels as we spin for a cure.

Iam particularly pleased we were able to start a kid's ride here because I first proposed kids' rides to Headquarters 13 years ago, confident that they would be a roaring success. The PMC Kids Rides are for children of all ages who want to support the Pan Challenge, the most successful athletic fundraising event for charity in the USA. Every summer for the past 26 years, thousands of cyclists from around the country and world, ride across Massachusetts to raise money for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. Since 1980, the PMC has raised more than $125 million for the Jimmy Fund. The Kids' Rides give children a way to become activists for charity at an early age, while doing something fun and athletic! Known as "Spokes in the PMC Wheel," the Kids' Rides are furthering the PMCs mission-to make a difference in the fight against cancer. Inthe past six years, Kids' Rides in Massachusetts have raised nearly $140,000-an impressive display of kid power! Just as importantly, they have empowered kids to believe that they can make a difference.

Please know that your support helped make our event a mind blowing success and that with each mile pedaled, we are getting closer to a cure. No one knows better than you, how important this mission is now and in the days ahead. I am thinking of Adam constantly, sending prayers and strength.

With gratitude, €1 \en Ellen Stockmayer Co-Chair PMC Kids Ride 2006 June 29,2006

Dear Rick:

On behalf of Portsmouth Regional Hospital, I would like to thank you for your generous contribution to the 17thAnnual Billy Cheverie Memorial Golf Tournament. Your donation of a Nike gift bag helped to make this year’s raffle a huge success.

With the help of many generous donors and sponsors, this year’s tournament raised close to $85,000. The following Seacoast organizations will benefit from this year’s fundraising efforts:

American Heart Association, A Safe Place, Betty’s Dream, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Seacoast, Billy Cheverie Memorial Scholarship Fund, Crossroads House, Families First Health and Support Center, NH Breast Cancer Coalition, and the Salvation Army.

Once again, thank you for your willingness to be a part of this important event. Without the assistance of area businesses, this event would not be possible.

Good Morning Ian & Lindsey! Thanks again for being part of Corey's Wish! He really, really enjoyed the opportunity to spread the news himself over the air! And it was great for him to (as well as all of us) to see how a station/broadcast works!

I'm not sure if you get the Manchester Union but ...the picture in yesterdays paper summed up the whole experience. They have a close up picture of Corey on the third base line clapping and smiling!!

Every member of the Fisher Cats as well as the Wolves were on hand for the game. Even players who could not play due to contract stuff or injury was there! We even had a member of the Wolves who had something wrong with his ankle -get up to bat - someone ran for him! Even members of the Monarchs came to the game

Members of our State and City Government were there. Governor Lynch, a couple Senators, Attorney General Ayotte, and Mayor Guinta of Manchester were in attendence along with many members of the Miss New Hampshire group, Jamie Staton of WMUR, Greg and the Morning Buzz and many others all took part in his game.

The teams actually were split up pretty good with members of each team on each team. So it really was a huge fun time - Corey was thrilled that it was more fun then more formal.

The final outcome was the team donning the Wolves shirts won the game 8 to 6

Corey received so many gifts and future opportunities that his Wish is still continuing! But the greatest gifl of all is the memory of the whole event and you were part of that -Thanks again to both of you!
