Megan Lynch to Join Flatiron Books as SVP, Publisher

(October 17, 2019- New York, NY) Bob Miller, president of Flatiron Books, announced today that Megan Lynch will join Flatiron Books as Senior Vice President, Publisher, starting on November 4.

For the past three years, Lynch has been Vice President and Editorial Director of Ecco at HarperCollins, where she published the million-copy The Nest by Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney along with such authors as Ben Fountain, Elizabeth McCracken, Laura Zigman and Nell Zink.

Before working at Ecco, Lynch spent eleven years at , such acclaimed authors as Sarah Waters, Carrie Brownstein, Helen Oyeyemi and Emma Straub; her authors have won numerous awards including a Whiting Award, a MacArthur “Genius” grant, the Guardian First Book Award, and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize.

Miller said of Lynch, “Megan is one of the most accomplished editors in our business, with an unerring eye for quality. We’re beyond thrilled to have her join us at Flatiron Books.”
