Unit #40 Mobile App

We are excited to announce the release of our mobile app. This document explains where the app can be downloaded and how to customize it to meet your needs.

In addition, the documents provides a brief overview of the features that are integrated into the app. There are Two Ways to Download the Mobile App

METHOD 1

• Go to the mobile app download center on the Unit #40 website. It is located in the right hand margin half way down the main page.

• News: stories about great things happening in the district. • Calendars: dates and times for events occurring at each building and the district. • Directory: email staff members from your phone. • Buildings: contact information for each building. • Lunch: lunch menus for each building. • Notifications: provides buildings & district with the ability to share important time sensitive information with users. • Settings: personalize the app to meet your needs. • Grade Viewer: check out your child’s grades. • Athletics: easy access to sports schedules. The app provides users with the ability to customize the information they receive. Click on the toggle switch to activate access to the specific buildings from which you’d like to receive information. Personalized for Users

Please go to the settings tab located on the, and change your preferences as needed. Featured News Stories

The app provides users with the ability to stay connected with events and activities that take place in Unit #40 on a daily basis.

The “News” feature is updated regularly and provides users with a deeper understanding of the stories of academic achievement in Unit #40 schools. Calendars

The app contains calendars for each building. An icon that identifies the building is located on the right hand side of each event.

Click on the event for more information and to download it to your individual calendar. Calendars Staff Directory

Email staff members directly by clicking on their names.

To find a staff member either scroll down through the list or scroll up to find the search field listed at the top of the page. Staff Directory

Contact information for each building is listed under the building tab. To access the phone number, fax number or link directly to the building website, please click on the specific building. Users will be taken to a second page that contains the information.

In addition, the app also has a map feature that can be used to show the exact location of each building. Menus
