Our volunteer run Community Association is busy bringing our neighbourhood’s interests and concerns to the City of Ottawa. We make sure we stay informed and current on our neighbourhood and city issues. We continue to organize events throughout the year to bring new and old community members together, to meet each other, and create a strong, positive sense of community and belonging. Some of the initiatives we are proposing and working on: Neighbourhood Watch is a crime-prevention program that gets citizen’s involved in discouraging and preventing crime by watching out for our neighbours and their property. 21 Withrow Avenue Survey Results Protecting the Character of City View Neighbourhood Discussion Community Association Membership Drive Why become a member of the City View Community Association? Together we have a stronger, louder voice with the city & Councillor about issues that matter to us! - We have direct lines of communication with city departments and work to affect po0sitive outcomes. - Notices and announcements regarding our neighbourhood are forwarded through e-mail and events. - Your fee of $10 per year or $25 for 3 years, helps pay for the various community events and programs we run. EVENTS: Saturday June 10, C.V.C.A. Community Garage Sale & Spring Give Away Weekend Sunday, June 25 Free Senior’s Strawberry Social, and Sunday, September 17 150 Celebration. VOLUNTEERS Are Always WELCOME! Even if you can only give one hour all contributors are appreciated. City View is Located between Baseline Road, Merivale Road, Woodroffe Avenue and Meadowlands Drive. St. Claire Gardens is part of City View. Ryan Farm residents are welcome. We currently have over 1000 homes in our neighbourhood. .
