Welcome to the Förster Family at Röslein, ´s old town inn and the world´s largest Bratwurst Restaurant, right at the Christkindlesmarkt.

Guests have been served here since 1431. It all started as "Waizenstüblein", grew into the "Rostbratküche Zu den Drei Rosen" and continues until the present day as Bratwurst Röslein. This means almost 590 years of Franconian inn tradition. It is our most heartfelt wish to preserve this tradition. We (your hosts Michael and Thomas Förster) originate from the former old town 's shop Hermann Förster at Laufer Schlagturm. This is just one reason why our co-workers and we enjoy working for you with a high sense of quality, tradition and home.

We buy our daily fresh products exclusively in our Franconian-Bavarian homeland. Only the best quality can nd its way into our cellar and kitchen. Such as the from straw pigs from farmers in Berching, from Steigerwald pigs, or from Angus cattle from the Angus Manufaktur in .

Our specialty, the original Nuremberg , is made according to the traditional recipe of our grand- father. Hermann Förster senior, handcrafted in a Nuremberg old town butcher's shop. Fresh every day – the raw product is prepared for you on the grill.

Our local “Knoblauchsland” vegetable growers deliver fresh and vegetables every day. The Franco- nian wines are supplied by our long-standing house winegrower, Rainer Müller, from the Max Müller winery in Volkach. The are brewed according to handicraft in the traditional Tucher brewery.

Our Tucher red from the wooden barrel is a particular, traditional beer specialty handcrafted by the wooden barrel brewery at Schillerplatz.

Our butcher family has its origins in our grandfather Hermann Förster sen., who founded the butcher's shop "Altstadt- metzgerei Förster" in 1901 in Äußere Laufer Gasse, which is in the heart of the old town of Nuremberg. This year also saw the birth of our special, traditional recipe for our original Nuremberg sausages. Handcrafted with the best ingre- dients, our butcher produces this special piece of our homeland, which is delivered several times a day and freshly prepared for you on the grill. An extraordinary culinary experience.

We get our meat exclusively from straw pigs raised on farms in Franconia and from Steigerwald pigs. The comes from Franconian Angus cattle raised at Angus Manufaktur Franken, under the direction of the breeder Dr. Ne . We do not use products from mass animal husbandry, but only organic meat from a species-appropriate husbandry.
