Introduction (Time Frame: 5 minutes) After learning about how to analyze the fundamental principle of hairstyle, use the appropriate tools, materials in hairstyling, and observe the safety precautions and sanitations while giving services to the client, this lesson you will help you learn the methods and processes of hairstyling like the non-thermal styling and thermal styling, and how to perform casual hairstyling and formal creative hairstyle. D. Development (Time Frame: 120 minutes) Non-Thermal (Traditional) Hairstyling • Non-thermal Setting, also known as temporary curling, is a temporary process like blow-drying. It is the opposite of perming which is a permanent process. In setting, you can change the shape of a curly hair by making it straight or a straight hair to curly hair. The advantage of this process is that if you do not like the result, you can quickly dampen down the hair and change. • Non-Thermal Styling- is the technique of a setting of the hair strand into a temporary curl without suing heating implements.
