Introduction (Time Frame: 5 minutes) After learning about how to analyze the fundamental principle of , use the appropriate tools, materials in hairstyling, and observe the safety precautions and sanitations while giving services to the client, this lesson you will help you learn the methods and processes of hairstyling like the non-thermal styling and thermal styling, and how to perform casual hairstyling and formal creative hairstyle.

D. Development (Time Frame: 120 minutes) Non-Thermal (Traditional) Hairstyling • Non-thermal Setting, also known as temporary curling, is a temporary process like blow-drying. It is the opposite of perming which is a permanent process. In setting, you can change the shape of a curly by making it straight or a straight hair to curly hair. The advantage of this process is that if you do not like the result, you can quickly dampen down the hair and change. • Non-Thermal Styling- is the technique of a setting of the hair strand into a temporary curl without suing heating implements. Option 1. In hard copy, look for the hairstyles from available newspapers, magazines, or brochures. Cut it out and paste it in a bond paper. Submit the output to your adviser. Option 2. In soft copy, search the hairstyle pictures/ images using Google Search, copy and paste the images in Word Document. Do not forget to add the URL of the images you saved. Save the document file and send it to your class’ GC assigned by your adviser.
