Boston Bar Association 2019 Nominating Committee Appointed Nominating Committee: BBA President Jonathan Albano has appointed a Nominating Committee to construct a ballot for the Kevin Nolan, Chair DLA Piper Boston Bar Association’s elected leadership positions that will become vacant on August 31, 2019. These positions include seven Council seats and three officer positions: Vice-President, Treasurer Kate R. Cook and Secretary. Pursuant to the by-laws, the offices of President and President-Elect will be filled by Sugarman Rogers the automatic ascension of the President-Elect and the Vice President, respectively. Rachel E. Council: Suma V. Nair The Boston Bar Association Council is the board of directors of the BBA. Members of the Goulston & Storrs PC Council serve a three-year term. There are 34 Council members: five officers, the immediate past President, the President of the Boston Bar Foundation, and 27 members at large. Each Martin F. Murphy year, seven Council members are elected by the membership and -two are appointed by the Foley Hoag, LLP incoming President. The Council’s role is to act as a responsible steward of the mission and purposes of the BBA, Andrew P. Strehle and to work with staff and other Council members as partners towards the achievement of the Brown Rudnick LLP BBA’s objectives. Additional information may be found here. The Secretary attends all meetings of the Association and of the Council and works with the BBA staﬀ to ensure there is an accurate and complete record of all their proceedings and votes.
