A brief progress report is set out in document MEPC 75/8/5. 2 A first, interim report of the Working Group is provided in the annex to this document. It has been peer-reviewed and approved for circulation by GESAMP but should still be regarded as work in progress. An updated text, following any comments and inputs received from delegations, will form part of the Working Group's full report, which is expected to be finalized by the end of 2020.
