Sparkling Science goes Citizen Science Stephan Endlicher 1804 - 1849 Bust in the Arkadenhof of the University of Vienna 2015 http://www.sparklingscience.at/en Sparkling Science > Science linking with School School linking with Science Science and research are important pillars of a modern knowledge and industrial society and the support of young budding researchers is of special concern to me as minister in charge of science and research. The research pro- gramme “Sparkling Science” has successfully been linking innovative research and pre-university promo- tion of young researchers in an unconventional way since 2007. This initiative, which is unique in Europe, allows children and teenagers to immerse themselves in the enthralling field of science and research at an early age and also enables them to collaborate in the solution of current research questions.
