For Coloured Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf By Ntozake Shange Director: Adam Tulloch Adam has trained at The Brit School, Talawa Theatre Company and Theatre Royal Stratford East. His acting credits include; Windrush: The Next Generation (Stratford Circus), Squid (Lyric Hammersmith) The Black Battalions (The Yesterday Channel), # I am England (Lillian Baylis Studio). He also had guest appearances in The Bill, Holby Blue and Silent Witness. His writing and directing credits include; For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Isn’t Enuf (SOAS), Through the Wire (Old Red Lion Theatre), The Gun (Lyric Hammersmith) and AccePtance (Warehouse Theatre). Adam is recent Rare award winner and his next production Olaudah Equiano, the Enslaved African will tour this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival at the Space @ Jury’s Inn from 1st- 16th August. Movement Director: Sharon Henry Sharon trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and is a versatile dancer and actress. Her dancing credits include; Urban Dance Fusion, Street yiP- dance around eight motives, Darwin’s building Orchestra and Kannari. Her recent choreography credits include; Through the Wire (Old Red Lion Theatre) and For Colored Girls (SOAS). Sharon will also be working as a movement director on Olaudah Equiano, the Enslaved African. In her spare time, Sharon enjoys singing and teaching dance. Costume Design: Sian Edwards Sian trained at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts as a community arts practitioner. She has worked for a variety of Theatre Companies teaching Drama including; The Polka Theatre, The New Wimbledon Theatre and Dramabuds. Sian also designs and makes costumes. Her credits include; Through the Wire (The Old Red Lion Theatre), Reveal the Inner you (TIE Production) and For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Isn’t Enuf (SOAS). She will be going on to produce the upcoming tour of For Colored Girls and Olaudah Equiano, the Enslaved African at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe. Lady in Yellow: Leigh Atkinson Leigh trained at London Metropolitan University undertaking a degree in Performing Arts. She has also trained at the Actors Platform Casting Workshop and has undertaken several LAMDA examinations. Her credits include; For Colored Girls, The Professionals, Lost One and A New Leaf. Lady In Blue: Liah Yecalo- Tecle Liah has trained at the National Youth Theatre, the Almeida Theatre, Sylvia Young Theatre School and Islington Community Theatre. Her credits include; In Progress (Islington Community Theatre), The Vagina Monologues (SOAS), Seeing Daniel (Almeida Theatre) and Secret Cinema Presents. Lady in Brown: Rachel Summers Rachel trained has trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts as well as Central School of Speech and Drama. Her recent credits include; Love Isn’t Enuf (Tricycle Theatre), Asylum Monologues (Colour House Theatre) and The Inferno (Leicester Square Theatre). She has also voiced commercials for Worldstore’s Furniture and Jacqueline Wilson’s book Emerald Star. Her latest film Calloused Hands opened the British Urban Film Festival last year. Lady in Orange: Shanice Grant- Barnett Shanice trained at Middlesex University and has an interest in acting, directing, and writing. In 2011 Shanice wrote and directed a successful short film which was nominated at the BFI's for 'Best Fiction.` Shanice has performed in various theatres such as Tricycle theatre and the Young Vic theatre. In addition she has also performed in short films and online TV shows such as Trim and Last move. Lady in Red: Siobhan Cha Cha Siobhan is a recent graduate of Birmingham School of Acting. Whilst training she performed in several productions including; The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Pheadra, The ThreePenny OPera , In Extremis, Bedlam and has recently appeared in the short film Ready 4 Whatever which was shown at Cannes Film Festival 2013. As well as acting she is currently in process of writing her own plays. Lady in Green: Damilola K Fashola DK Fashola is a recent Royal Court Young Writers Alumni and a 30 Nigeria House Award winner. Since founding SilhouetteZ In The Dark in she has toured in London and Nigeria performing with the Theatre, Dance and Poetry Alliance. Her recent dancing credits include; appearing as a solo dancer, in Tiwa Savage's emotive video Olorun mi. Her writing credits include: African Jambalaya (Sync London) and Communication (Oxford House Theatre). Fashola is also the author of Years Gone By a book of short stories and poe try available via online publications blurb. Lady in Purple: Cherrelle Jade Cherrelle trained at Royal Holloway University undertaking a degree in Drama and Creative Writing. Her credits include; The Love of The Nightingale and The Beauty Queen of Leenane. Her other achievements include having an interview and poem about the London riots of 2011 featured in The Observer newspaper. She is currently working on writing her own play and TV script. .
