The route of the Manaslu trek

The Manaslu Circuit Trek begins with an amazing sightseeing tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu, where we go and explore Pashupatinath temple, Boudhnath Stupa, Royal Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Swayambhunath Temple. After this incredible cultural activity, we begin the journey to Sathi Khola and to Machha Khola, the beginning points of our trek to Manaslu. As we pass several villages, the marvel at the captivating views of Mt. Manaslu will always accompany us. For the Manaslu trek cost, you need to calculate an average of 60 USD to 70 USD per day. For the Manaslu Circuit trek 17 days, it will cost a total of 1065 USD to 1200 USD per person. According to us the best time to trek in Manaslu will be in the months of March, April, and May. This is the time when the entire valley is green and full of life! Alternatively, if you’re more a winter, snowy- type of person we do recommend as the best time to trek in Manaslu from September to November!

Day 01 : Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m | 4,264ft.)

Day 02 : Kathmandu cultural sightseeing

Day 03 : Kathmandu drive to Soti Khola (1,000m | 3,280ft.)

Dinner and overnight stay at Soti Khola Traveler’s note: Today after breakfast you will move from Kathmandu via private jeep or Local bus, it depends on our Finances. Then we are enjoying views of the Nepalese countryside along with the mountain hill then we will travel on the secondary route to Dhading Beshi. We get to Aarughat/salentar . After reaching the Arughat/salentar down in the region we drive further towards Seti Khola, overnight SotiKola.

Day 04 : Soti Khola to Machha Khola (1,300m | 4,265ft.)

• Breakfast and departure • Today we go towards the Budi Gandaki River • Start with a climb and exit the forest at Riden Gaon • Head towards Lambesi • Downwards towards the Budi Gandaki • Teahouse overnight stay at Machha Khola Traveler’s note: Our way today, we will go slowly and steadily to climb again. Then, we will head out of the woods to arrive at Riden Gaon. This ravine right here cuts instantly into yet one more river to arrive at

Budhi Gandaki. At Lambesi, the track moves downhill to Budi Gandaki. We stroll for about 5 hours. We will set a new camp at Machha Khola. Overnight in Machha Khola.

Day 05 : Machha Khola to Jagat (1,360m | 4,461ft.)

• Breakfast and departure • We go over the Thado Khola and head to Khorlabesi • Cross the Budi Gandaki River via the suspension bridge • Reach Dobhan • The final part to Jagat • Teahouse overnight stay at Jagat Traveler’s note:On this day, the track moves over the Thado Khola with a new pebbly ravine to Khorlabesi. We can also view a smaller temperate early spring from Tatopani. The track after that mounts prior to going across the Budhi Gandaki River, over a suspension bridge. After that, we will arrive at Dobhan. For the reason that elevation increases, the surroundings run all the way through a full modification. In Jagat, you can get a police check-post. Overnight in Jagat.

Day 06 : Jagat to Nayak (2,300m | 7,545ft.) •

• Breakfast and departure • Head towards the riverbed • Before following the river head uphill to Saguleri • Get to Ghatte River and cross the Budi Gandaki until reaching Sirish Gaon • Enter the Gandaki Valley and head on to Nayak • Teahouse overnight stay at Nayak Traveler’s note: We go away from Jagat to arrive at the riverbed yet another time. Right after going on along the river, we ensure up to terraced hill Saguleri after that from you will arrive at Sringi Himal (7177 m). After reaching Ghatte river, we will yet again cross the Budhi Gandaki intil we will reach to Sirish Gaon. From now Gandaki Valley will contract. Overnight camp in Nayak.

Day 07 : Nayak to Ghap (2,095m | 6,873ft.)

• Breakfast and departure • Walk upstream the Deng Khola River • Visit the local villages for a great cultural experience • Continue on towards Ghap • Teahouse overnight stay at Ghap Traveler’s note: Leaving Nayak, we will walk across the upstream of Deng Khola where we will observe a small village with households. At Ghap, the Tibetan lifestyle can be witnessed together with Mani stones to chortens on a lot of facets. Overnight at camp.

Day 08 : Ghap to Lho Gaon (3,150m | 10,334ft.)

Breakfast and departure Follow the ridge towards the Budi Gandaki River Head on towards Namur Continue on via the Linda Glacier towards the Han River Head to Sho and nearby to Lho Gaun Set up camp / Teahouse at Lho Gaun

Traveler’s note: Through Ghap, most of us traverse all the way through the ridge to Budhi Gandaki where on the way down with the number of houses. At Namru, we can see check post once more. Then, most of us come across the Hinan River via Linda Glacier and also carry on in order to arrive at Sho. Manaslu upper (7774 m), Naike peak, Manaslu (8150 m) is frequently visible from here. We will make way close to Lho gaon - a tiny town to stay overnight.

Day 09 : Lho Gaon to Sama Gompa (3,500m | 11,482ft.)

• Breakfast and departure • Today we head to Pung Gyan Gomba • Enter a 500 years old region and reach Sama Gaon • Visit the Sama Gompa • Set up camp / Teahouse at Lho Gaun Traveler’s note: Today we will visit Gomba and after that with the magnificent maximum landscape. Then, we all go around the distinctive alpine path ahead all of us to arrive at Pung Gyan Gomba, right through these meadows and also to the 500 years old region, Sama Gaon. Dzongkha Dzong (fortress) lying within the national boundaries of Tibet. Overnight in Sama Gompa.

Day 10 : Sama Gompa to Samdo (4,000m | 13,123ft.)

• Breakfast and departure • Following the Mani walls towards Kermo Kharka • Head downwards to the Budi Gandaki River • Continue on to Samdo village • Teahouse at Samdo Traveler’s note: By Sama Gompa, we all go across the long mani wall as well as Chorten at Kermo Kharka afterward walk down towards Budi Gandaki. Day 11 : Samdo acclimatization day

• Breakfast • Today we rest for acclimatization • Hike uphill for exercise • Rest of the day is free at leisure and exploration • Teahouse at Samdo Traveler’s note: Did you know that once uphill you can see incredible views of Tibet

Day 12 : Samdo to Dharmashala (4,450m | 14,599ft.)

• Breakfast and departure • We start to head towards Larke Bazaar • Continue on towards Dharmashala village • Teahouse at Dharmashala Better get an early rest as tomorrow we cross the Larke La Pass

Traveling Note: From Samdo all of us move crossways through Gyala Khola. Rising again, all of us move toward the flourishing Larke bazaar. Also, we will arrive at a couple of small estuaries and streams previous to Larke Glacier. And we will go to built structures called " Dharmashala". Overnight in Dharmashala.

Day 13 : Dharmashala to Bhimtang (2,785m | 9,137ft.)

• Breakfast and departure • Head further up to Larke La along the majestic glaciers • Enjoy the views from Larke La Pass • Descend slowly to Bhimtang • Teahouse at Bhimtang village Traveler’s note: Did you know that the Larke La Pass is a perfected vantage point to see the incredible Annapurna Mountain ranges, Mt Manaslu and the Ganesh Himal!After a short walk and we will reach a valley on the north side of the larky Glaciers from where we can see with enjoying best views of the Cho danda and larky peak,

Finally, we walk across the moraines of the glacier. Making a gradual ascent which becomes steeper only in the last section of the pass. From the pass, there are outstanding views of the Himalayas Cheo Himalaya, khanguru and the huge Annapurna. Day 14 : Bhimtang to Dharapani (1,943m | 6,374ft.)

• Breakfast and departure • From here on its mostly downhill • Head to the pastures of Tillije • Follow the Dudh Khola River to the Thonje Check Post • Enter into the Marshyangdi region and continue to Dharapani • Teahouse at Dharapani

Traveling Note: We will leave Karcher to go up to paddy meadows on the track of Karche La. When getting ahead of the way we will have to walk down through the number of pastures to Tillie. All of us traverse Dudh Khola to enter the Thonje check post. After that, we meet up with the Marshyangdi region coming from beneath. Overnight at camp in Dharapani.

Day 15 : Dharapani to Chamje (1,433m | 4,701ft.)

• Breakfast and departure • Today our last day of trekking we head down to the Marshyangdi River • Shift through the villages towards Tal • Continue on towards Chamje • Teahouse at Chamje

Traveling Note: After Breakfast we are ahead from Dharapani to Chamje, it will 6-hour walk and will walk on the track down to the reachMarshyangdi river. After that, we will shift through the widen villages to get there at Tal community and walk to Chamje village overnight Chamje.

Day 16 : Chamje to Besisahar and drive back to Kathmandu

Breakfast and departure A jeep drive takes us to Besisahar From here we can take the bus back to Kathmandu Transfer to your hotel The rest of the evening free at leisure Overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu
