(1) Competition Rules : ​

1.1 All Wushu exponents, associations, organisations, and schools around the world may register individually or as part of an organisation. 1.2 There is no restriction on the number and types of Taolu an individual contestant can register, but events must be clearly specified during registration. 1.3 Group events must comprise between 5 to 15 contestants, and are not subject to form, content, music and other restrictions. 1.4 Competition Awards : Winners are selected based on merit, and can be from any country, gender or age category. For details, please refer to (5). ​ ​

2.2 Organisations with 15 contestants and above are entitled to appoint a referee who must be ​ qualified — the appointed referee has to be verified and confirmed by the Organising Committee. ​ The referee appointment must be submitted together with the registration form, and any late submission will not be entertained. All qualified referees will be awarded referee certificates. Note : Foreign referees are required to opt in for a package (see 2.1.6). Local referees will need to bear the cost of accommodation and transportation will be on their own.

2.3 All contestants are required to sign the Declaration Form (Appendix D). ​ ​ All personal particulars such as age and health conditions must be fully declared during registration. Any discrepancies may lead to disqualification. The Organisers shall not be held liable for any mishaps or accidents. Contestants shall not claim any compensation from the Organisers, and strongly recommended to apply for own personal accident insurance.

2.4 Foreign participants must make their own flight arrangements and apply for their Visa / Entry Permit through Immigration Department at their own expense.

Note : Number of contestants for the group event is 5 – 15: if less than the minimum stipulated, 0.5 marks will be deducted per contestant shortage. If the competition events are not in the list, please list down on the registration form. 3.3 Competition Event Time Allocation : ​ 3.3.1 Individual events :- 1 to 4 minutes; whistle will be blown at 3 minutes 3.3.2 Group event : - 5 to 6 minutes; whistle will be blown at 5 minutes Group event for Quan – no less than 1 minute and no more than 5 minutes Group event for Weapon – no less than 1 minute and no more than 5 minutes Group event need to be accompanied with music (Participating Teams to provide own CD or MP3 player)

3.4 Contestants shall be responsible for their own costumes, shoes and weapons required for competition. Foreign contestants who wish to bring their weapons into Singapore will need to apply for permits. The organisers will facilitate the permit application, and an application fee of SGD50 will be levied per group per embarkation. ​

3.5 Contestants shall report to the Registration Counter 30 minutes before the start of their events, or they will be deemed to have abstained from the event.

(4) Ranking and Awards : ​

4.1 Individual Events : Gold (20%), Silver (40%) and Bronze (40%) medals and certificates will be awarded according to the scores achieved. Contestants must complete their Tao Lu to qualify for ​ the medals and certificates.

4.2 Group Events : Gold, Silver and Bronze will be awarded certificates and medal / trophies.

6.8 No amendments are allowed after registration forms are submitted unless special circumstances which need to amend or add, please email your amended registration form together with payment before 10 August 2019. An administrative fee of SGD20.00 will ​ ​ ​ be levied for any amendments after confirmation. (Note: In order for the competition to proceed well, any amendments after 10 August ​ 2019 will not be accepted) ​

6.9 All foreign teams shall inform the committee of their flight schedule, person-in-charge’s contact number and arrival time 14 days prior to their arrival by email. (Note : Please inform the committee the arrival time and place of stay)

6.10 The team leader and at least one coach must attend the Joint Conference on the night of 6 Sep ​ 2019 @ 7.00pm. (Venue : Yio Chu Kang Sports Hall). (7) Arbitration Committee and Referees : ​ 7.1 The Competition Arbitration Committee will be appointed by the Organizers. Participants shall strictly abide by the rules, regulations and decisions made by the Arbitration Committee.

7.2 Referees and other officials are proposed by the various participating teams and various wushu associations. Acceptance and appointment will be made by the organizers. The Organizer’s decision is final.

(8)Others : 8.1 In the event that custom permits for the import/export of weapons are required, each team shall be levied a document fee of SGD50.00; with written statement stating ​ ​ clearly the amount and description of the weapons and entrance of customs checkpoint before 31 July 2019 Failing which the organizer shall not be held responsible for any ​ ​ customs block.

8.2 Any additional information uncovered in this rules and regulations shall be provided by the Organizing Committee in due course.
