Ursprung, Entwicklung Und Evolution Des Tongbeiquan

Those texts were posted on my web site and translated into many languages. In 2006 most of the information posted at Yiquan Academy site was collected in free e-books , which can be downloaded from www.yiquan.pl The materials about yiquan history and its founder became basis for this new free e- book. You will find a lot of new information, especially about yiquan’s situation in second half of 20th century. Described here is development of the main line of yiquan. I concentrate on the founder Wang Xiangzhai , his successor Yao Zongxun and his twin sons, especially my Teacher – Yao Chengguang . This e-book will provide you with information about facts and people, and should also help you to understand the process of yiquan development better. But please remember that descriptions of events, especially fights and challenges, are based on orally passed subjective relations, and written down by someone else at much later time. Because my research was based on Chinese sources, where names of foreigners writ- ten in Chinese, are then pronounced very different than originally, I was not able to recon- struct original form of names of Europeans in some cases. -

PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Kung-fu; História do esporte; Arte Marcial. ABSTRACT As a millenarian practice, Kung-Fu is an object of difficult study when one observes the great historical-sociocultural transformations that took place in China. This fact is further aggravated when one searches for academic sources of origin or even for trust outside the Chinese language. The objective of this work was to present a historical review of a popular Kung-Fu style with almost a thousand years of existence - the Eagle Claw. -

From Sifu Paul Life Can Only Be Understood Backwards; but It Must Be Lived Forwards
12/20 WudangA MONTHLY E - NEWSLETTER From Sifu Paul Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards. —Soren Kierkegaard When we approach the end of a typical year, events of the past 12 months are examined and reflected upon as we formulate and announce our resolutions for what we hope to achieve in the year ahead. To say the year 2020 was not typical is an enormous under- statement. The January 2020 issue of Wudang featured the welcoming of three veteran members to our chose the most visible and easy-to-find park << talented team of tutors; an article on expand- near the highway. Masks were required. “To say the year 2020 ing your T’ai Chi practice; the announcement was not typical is of new classes in the Fan, Symmetry 5, and the That first practice was a bit surreal—part an enormous Inner Smile meditation. My opening greeting masquerade and part family reunion. Friends understatement.” pointed out that the Solar and Lunar New and members walked from their houses, cars, Years were in the same month this year, with and bikes and warmly greeted each other the Lunar beginning a new 12-year cycle; I while awkwardly negotiating their distance. I ended the piece stating, “May the year ahead called for everyone to warm up on their own be all that you can imagine.” I think it’s fair to for 10 minutes so as not to seem like a class say no one imagined the year that lay ahead. then do a 5-minute Qigong of their choice, followed by a group Solo Form. -

Congratulations to Wudang San Feng Pai!
LIFE / HEALTH & FITNESS / FITNESS & EXERCISE Congratulations to Wudang San Feng Pai! February 11, 2013 8:35 PM MST View all 5 photos Master Zhou Xuan Yun (left) presented Dr. Ming Poon (right) Wudang San Feng Pai related material for a permanent display at the Library of Congress. Zhou Xuan Yun On Feb. 1, 2013, the Library of Congress of the United States hosted an event to receive Wudang San Feng Pai. This event included a speech by Taoist (Daoist) priest and Wudang San Feng Pai Master Zhou Xuan Yun and the presentation of important Wudang historical documents and artifacts for a permanent display at the Library. Wudang Wellness Re-established in recent decades, Wudang San Feng Pai is an organization in China, which researches, preserves, teaches and promotes Wudang Kung Fu, which was said originally created by the 13th century Taoist Monk Zhang San Feng. Some believe that Zhang San Feng created Tai Chi (Taiji) Chuan (boxing) by observing the fight between a crane and a snake. Zhang was a hermit and lived in the Wudang Mountains to develop his profound philosophy on Taoism (Daoism), internal martial arts and internal alchemy. The Wudang Mountains are the mecca of Taoism and its temples are protected as one of 730 registered World Heritage sites of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Wudang Kung Fu encompasses a wide range of bare-hand forms of Tai Chi, Xingyi and Bagua as well as weapon forms for health and self-defense purposes. Traditionally, it was taught to Taoist priests only. It was prohibited to practice during the Chinese Cultural Revolution (1966- 1976). -
