1.0 GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1 Introduction M/S. Bashyaam 1.0 GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1 Introduction M/s. Bashyaam Constructions Pvt Ltd proposes to construct a residential project in Koyambedu village, Aminjikarai Taluk and Chennai District in the state of Tamil Nadu. Total land area available is 78236.07 Sqm. The total built-up area of the proposal is 299913.76 Sqm. The proposed project falls under 8(b) category as per MoEF, EIA Notification, and 14th September 2006. Hence it is required to submit Terms of Reference (ToR). In order to obtain the Environmental Clearance for the proposed residential building from the State Environmental Impact Assessment Authority has engaged the services of us to conduct Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study and to prepare the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for the proposed project. 1.2 Contact details of the Project Proponent Name & Contact Address: Mr. R. Yuvaraajann M/s. Bashyaam Constructions Pvt Ltd No.87, G.N.Chetty Road, T.Nagar, Chennai - 600017. 1.3 Land Description The area of the plot is 78236.07 Sqm. It is a vacant land and is converted for residential development. As per CMDA Master Plan, the proposed site is classified under Industrial Use. Site is having flat terrain. The project site is located at 13° 4'38.07"N latitude & 80°11'37.08"E longitude. The site is located at a distance of 40m from Poonamalle High road in the southern side. The site is situated in Koyambedu village, Aminjikarai Taluk and Chennai District. The environmental settings of the site are given below: Table 1: Details of Environmental Setting S.
