Why Not Switch Your Medication to GENERIC DRUG? Generic drugs are considered identical to the brand name counterpart in dose, strength, route of administration, safety, efficacy, and intended use, and are available at more affordable price. Switching the medication from brand name drug to generic drug, especially in long term use, may effectively reduce the medical cost on the patient’s burden as well as on the insurance expenditure from National Health Insurance Program. If you prefer generic drugs for your prescription, please request for the change at a doctor’s reception or at a pharmacy. Please do not hesitate to consult your doctor about any concerns in trying new drugs.
