18U TEAM PCIM DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT/18U TIER 2 HEAD COACH/PARK CITY VARSITY HIGH SCHOOL HEAD COACH Josh Angevine

Josh has been involved in the game of hockey for over 30 years and began his coaching career in 1995 as an instructor with Turcotte Stick Handling school under Sean Skinner. Other camps Josh has coached/instructed for are Stick with the Edge, Golden State Hockey Camp, 3 Brothers and San Jose Sharks summer camps. Josh is a certified U.S.A. Hockey Level 4 and an insured private hockey instructor. Josh specializes in puck handling, shooting, power skating, edge/body control as well as systems and team play. Josh is also the Head Coach for the Park City Miners Varsity High School team and the Director of Development for the Park City Ice Miners.

PCIM HOCKEY DIRECTOR / 18U TIER 2 ASSISTANT COACH / 10U TRAVEL HEAD COACH Mike Adamek

Mike has been involved in hockey for over 25 years. His playing career included: 4 years at NCAA Division 1 Lake Superior State in Michigan, 4 years of Junior A hockey in the USHL and NAHL and nearly 100 professional games with the Boise Steelheads, Utah Grizzlies and Tulsa Oilers. He has been coaching at the Tier 1 and 2 levels for over 10 years. Mike has a passion for coaching youth hockey and currently serves as the Park City Ice Miners 16UAA Assistant Coach, the 10U Travel Head Coach and the Park City Hockey Director.

16U TEAMS 16U TIER 2 HEAD COACH Nick Dreyer

Nick grew up in the St. Louis area and has 30 years of hockey experience. He played youth hockey at the AA and AAA level until college. He attended McKendree University and received his Bachelors in Business Administration. While at McKendree he played four years of hockey and was a captain for three of those seasons. During those four years Nick become the second leading scorer in the school's history amassing over 250 points in 4 seasons. After college, Nick went in to coaching at the 10U level where he coached AA hockey for the Meramec Sharks program outside of St. Louis. Following that Nick was named the Head Coach of the Freeburg-Waterloo High School Hockey program where he coached for 5 seasons and led the team to a State Final in 2016-2017. Nick is a Level 4 USA Hockey Certified Coach and Personal Instructor. He was recently named the Head Coach of the Farmington High School Hockey Program for their inaugural season in 2018-2019.

16U TIER 2 ASSISTANT COACH Jim Kasper

Jim grew up playing hockey in Minnesota. He started playing hockey as a forward but ended up moving to goalie. He finished playing his senior year for his High School team. Jim started coaching as the Head Coach with the 18U Tier 2 Regulators in 2006. He has been coaching ever since with the 18U Tier 1 and 14U Tier 1 Chadder’s hockey teams and the 18U Tier 1 NW Regulators. Jim has been working with the 19U Tier 2 Utah Lady Grizzlies for the past 3 years. Jim is a Level 4 USA Hockey Certified Coach and a Level 4 USA Hockey Certified Referee.

16U TRAVEL HEAD COACH Mike Persky

Mike Persky grew up playing youth and high school hockey in the greater Boston area, but went on to play college lacrosse at Brown University. Since college Mike has remained actively involved in hockey, as both an adult club player and a coach. He is a certified USA hockey level 4 coach and has coached at almost every youth level, from Tier II 8U boys, to Tier I 16U girls, with both the Darien Youth Hockey and Mid Fairfield CT Stars. Mike has also coached lacrosse from youth to High School Varsity in Connecticut and is currently the defensive coordinator of the Park City High School Varsity Lacrosse team.

Mike and his wife moved to Park City from New Canaan, CT. They have four grown children, one who played Division I lacrosse at University of Pennsylvania, and another one who played Division III soccer at Johns Hopkins University. He brings with him the unique perspective of both having been a student athlete, and a parent of student athletes. He is passionate about ensuring that players understand the physical, fundamental and mental aspects of the game.

16U TRAVEL ASSOCIATE HEAD COACH Jordan Parise

Jordan Parise was raised in Bloomington, Minnesota playing youth hockey for the Jefferson Jaguars. In eighth grade, his dad, J.P., was offered the Director of Hockey position at Shattuck-St. Mary's School where him and his brother, Zach continued to play through graduation. After two years of playing in the USHL, he was fortunate enough to be offered a scholarship to play for The University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux where their team made it to the NCAA championships all three years he was there. Jordan received the Jeff Anderson Memorial Award for being voted the MVP by his teammates in his sophomore and junior year. He decided the next step was to fulfill his dream and become a professional hockey player. Jordan signed an NHL contract with the New Jersey Devils in 2006. However, injuries would get the best of him as he had a season-ending hip surgery in 2008. After that, Jordan made the decision to play in Europe for five years in Austria, Germany, Norway, and Italy until retiring after seven professional seasons in 2013. Jordan currently works in the medical device industry educating doctors about orthopedic, spine, and neuro surgery.

14U TEAMS 14U TIER 2 HEAD COACH Tom Gatta

Tom Gatta grew up in upstate New York and played hockey for his local youth hockey program. In high school, he played for the high school team in addition to playing for AAA and select teams that played in tournaments throughout New England. He went to college in Vermont and played D-3 for Castleton (ECACEast). After graduating, he moved to Park City and have since made it his home. For the past 6 years, Tom has been the Physical and Outdoor Education Teacher at Park City Day School and has also been coaching Ice Miner’s teams since 2011. He has focused on taking his knowledge of hockey and applying it to coaching the youth programs here in Park City.

14U TIER 2 ASSISTANT COACH Matt Long

Matt Long grew up in Duxbury, MA and started playing hockey at the age of 4. He played AAA hockey with the South Shore Kings. Growing up he played in many AAA tournaments along the east coast and in the New England area. Matt played 4 years of Varsity Hockey at Duxbury High School where he was the Captain for 3 years. He also played in the Atlantic League All-Star Team his junior and senior year.

After high school, Matt attended Sierra Nevada College in Lake Tahoe, NV. He moved to Park City full-time 7 years ago. While living in Park City, Matt also played on the Utah Senior Elite State Championship teams with the Park City Pioneers. He is very excited to be part of the Park City Ice Miner’s Organization.

14U TRAVEL HEAD COACH Stephen Hickey

Stephen Hickey grew up in Hamilton, Ontario. He played four years of high school hockey at Shattuck St. Mary’s in Faribault, Minnesota. After SSM he played three seasons of Junior A with the Oakville Blades of the Ontario Junior Hockey League where they won the 2010 Dudley Hewitt Cup and advanced to the Royal Bank Cup. After playing with the Oakville Blades, Stephen moved to Huntsville and completed one full season of NCAA Division One hockey with the University of Alabama-Huntsville. Stephen now makes his home in Park City, Utah.

12U TEAMS 12U TRAVEL HEAD COACH Tommy Anderson

Tommy Anderson was born and raised in Brighton, MI. Tommy started playing hockey when he was 4 years old. In high school, he had the honor of being named to the all-state team and representing Team Michigan for two years. In addition, he played as Captain on his Brighton High School team in Michigan which won the D1 State championships.

Tommy also played for the Fargo Moorhead Jets in the North . He also worked for Competitive Edge Skating out of Michigan for 5 years as their head stick handling instructor. This will be Tommy’s 3rd season as the 12U Travel Coach for the Park City Ice Miners. Tommy is also the Wasatch High School hockey coach in Heber City.

12U TRAVEL ASSISTANT COACH Tony Martino

Tony Martino was born and raised in Holmes, NY and moved to Park City in April, 2014 where he has coached the U12 Ice Miners since 2015. Tony started playing hockey at age 7 and played for local recreation and travel teams while growing up. Tony attended 3 years of high school at The Gunnery Prep School in Washington, CT where he was a 3-sport captain, leading scorer of the hockey team and named to the All New England Hockey team all 3 years of attendance. Tony was named to The Gunnery Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011. Tony went on to play 4 years of NCAA Division 1 at Brown University where he graduated in 1995.

Tony earned a MBA from New York University in 2003 and is currently an employee of Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC where he has worked since 1998. Tony and his wife Maria reside in Park City with their dog, Rocky. Tony states, “I think it is very important for youth hockey players to develop hockey sense. I enjoy working on the growth and development of a young player’s hockey IQ”.

12U URL D1 HEAD COACH Katie Kleinendorst

Katie has her Masters of Arts in Education from Castleton University. While in school, Katie was an Assistant coach for the Castleton Spartans NCAA Division III, Women's Ice-Hockey team. Kleinendorst graduated from University of New Hampshire with her Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Coaching. At University of New Hampshire she was a four-year member of the women's hockey team and following the 2012-13 season was awarded the team's Unsung Hero Award. Katie played two years of D-1 women's lacrosse at University of New Hampshire.

Katie attended North American Hockey Academy for three years, in Stowe, Vermont. Katie comes from a coaching family, her father, Kurt, was an ice hockey letter winner at Providence College and currently coaching the Binghamton Senators in the American Hockey League. When she is not at the rink, she can be found working as a Para Professional at the Park City Learning Academy.

12U TRAVEL & URL D1 ASSISTANT COACH Jack Skille

Jack Skille is an American hockey player born and raised in Madison, WI. Jack grew up playing youth hockey throughout the Madison area. Jack committed to the University of Wisconsin Madison for a full scholarship during his sophomore year at Verona at the age of 15. The National Team Development Program in Ann Arbor, MI is where he spent his junior and senior year of high school, competing against NAHL, college and other countries on the world stage. In 2005 Jack was part of the Team USA U-18 World Championship team in Pilsen, Czech Republic. Jack was selected 7th overall by the in the 2005 NHL draft. Jack was also a silver medalist in the 2004 U-18 World Championships in Minsk, and a bronze medalist in the 2007 World Junior Championships in Leksand, Sweden.

Jack would go on to play for the University of Wisconsin Badgers from 2005-2007, winning a national championship with the 2006 national championship team. After the 2007 season at the University of Wisconsin Madison Jack signed his 3- year entry- level contract with the Blackhawks where he would spend most of those years developing in the AHL with the Rockford Ice Hogs in Rockford, IL. In 10 seasons in North America, Jack played 211 AHL and 368 NHL games. His last two seasons with the and . Jack has now finished his 12th year pro after playing for Geneve Servette in the Swiss-A League in Switzerland. Jack has competed in 643 professional games, not including playoffs, in his 12 seasons of professional hockey.

8U/6U TEAMS 8U/6U HEAD COACH Matt Genther

Matt grew up playing youth hockey in the Philadelphia area. Matt played defense for Bishop Shanahan High School and played competitive hockey in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland areas. Matt attended East Stroudsburg University and majored in Hotel Restaurant Tourism Management. His love for the mountains brought him west to Park City where he has lived for the past 10 years. Matt is currently the Ice Program Coordinator at the Park City Ice Arena, combining his love of hockey and his degree in management. Matt continues to play hockey in the Park City Hockey Leagues and Drop-In Hockey.

Matt wants to teach kids about proper sportsmanship, team play and leadership, all while having FUN. He hopes that the skills the players learn both on and off the ice will lead to them becoming better individuals overall.

POWER SKATING COACH Shannon Bennett

Shannon Bennett has over 30 years of combined on-ice experience as a competitive figure skater and coach. Prior to coaching she was a regional and sectional competitor as well as the Minnesota State Intermediate Ladies Champion. She is a Silver Medalist in Freestyle, Bronze Medalist in Figures and is a Level III Hockey Coach with USA Hockey, is PSA rated: RFS, CFS and Hockey Skating Level II. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing from the University of Utah. Her expertise is based on long-term athlete development with a focus on fundamental skill development while fostering the love of the sport. Shannon is the owner of Elevated Power Skating which holds power skating clinics throughout the year.

GOALIE COACH Mark Sample

Mark is currently a goaltending coach and consultant based out of Denver, Colorado where he works with more than 250 and several Midget AAA, Junior A, and professional teams. He is one of the staff members of In the Crease, a goaltending coaching group based in the Rocky Mountain region.

Throughout his 20+ years of development, Mark has collaborated with some of today's leading goaltending instructors, including Ian Clark, Vladislav Tretiak and Ron Grahame. His success as an instructor and a developer have made him one of the most popular coaches in the Rocky Mountain area. Mark holds a Master Level 5 coaching credential through USA hockey.

ASSISTANT GOALIE COACH Alec Schnitzler

Alec Schnitzler is originally from St. Louis, MO where he grew up playing AA and AAA hockey. In his final year of youth hockey, he was the starting goalie for his teams’ 2018 U18 National Championship. Alec attended the University of Missouri where he received his Bachelors in Business Administration and played for Mizzou’s ACHA team. HIs team won the league title in his Freshman and Senior seasons. Alec was a Team Captain and Treasurer in his final two years with the program.

Upon graduating Alec began coaching with his former program at the 18U level where he was an assistant coach for 3 years. Alec has over 20 years of hockey experience and has 10+ years of goaltender specific coaching. Alec has been a USA Hockey Certified Official for 8+ years as well.

STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH Tyler Kugler

Tyler grew up in Peoria, Illinois and was a multi-sport athlete. Hockey, basketball, and skiing were always a passion of his growing up and loved competing in them. Tyler led his high school hockey team to state finals 2 years in a row while playing in Illinois. He moved to Utah in 2013, where he ended up playing 3 years for the University of Utah hockey team. Tyler graduated with degrees in both Kinesiology and Nutrition. He started his personal training business Modus Hockey, where he brings his passion for training and hockey together.
