The last time DU missed the tournament was 2007. Denver looks to replace goalie Sam Brittain, who was named NCHC Goalie of the Year last season. Brittain was the backbone of a Pioneer team that captured the NCHC Frozen Faceoff Championship in the first year of the tournament. The championship was the school’s 16th conference tournament title in program history. Denver comes into the season with 13 straight years with at least 20 wins. The Crimson and Gold look to extend their NCAA best streak of consecutive 20-win seasons to 14 in 2014-15.
