Your tour hosts Mike & Marion Kerry have a wealth of experience having visited Israel around 20 times. This will be the 6th Biblical Tour they have led as well as several trips to the ICEJ Feast of Tabernacles; they have also been on several tours independently. Day 1 Sunday 8th March: UK - ISRAEL Depart UK for Israel – the Holy Land. Arrive in the evening, where our local representatives, Diesenhaus – Unitours, will help you with the formalities at Ben Gurion Airport. After passing through customs you will be introduced to your guide and driver, who will be with you throughout your pilgrimage. Transfer to your hotel on the shores of the Mediterranean.

Day 2 Monday 9th March: NAZARETH - TIBERIAS Drive on to Caesarea; see the excavations of the Crusader City, the Herodian Port. Visit Megiddo then continue to Nazareth where Jesus spent his early years and visit Nazareth Village . Just north of Nazareth is the village of Cana, the site of Jesus’ first miracle. Drive to Tiberias for dinner and over night stay.

Day 3 Tuesday 10th March: Start the day with a visit to Magdala then onwards to . Continue to Kursi (The Land of the Geraseenes) where Jesus healed the two demon possessed men. Onwards to Capernaum, centre of Jesus' Ministry, - located here are the ruins of an ancient synagogue and the site of Peter's House. Visit Mensa Christi in the afternoon. We will visit the Mount of Beatitudes- the site of the ‘Sermon on the Mount’. Drive to Nof Ginossar and see the ancient Jesus boat and end the day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.

Day 4 Wednesday 11th March: We head north we visit the Hula Valley then take the high road to . Tel Dan has lots of surprises and we have time to visit before taking in a few other sights on our way home.

Day 5 Thursday 12th March: TIBERIAS - JERUSALEM After checking out of the hotel, drive to Mt Tabor, the traditional site of the Transfiguration. Proceed through the rift valley, visit the city of Beit Shean, a Roman city of the Decapolis. Visit Kasr El Yehud, the Baptismal site on the shores of the . Continue passing Jericho, the oldest inhabited city in the world Climb the Judean Hills towards Jerusalem. Con- tinue to your hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 Friday 13th March: CITY TOUR JERUSALEM & BETHLEHEM Begin the day’s tour on the Mount of Olives for a breath-taking view of the entire city. Walk down the traditional Palm Sunday route to the Church of All Nations and the Garden of Gethsemane. Proceed to Yad Veshem – the Museum of the Holocaust. In the Afternoon we drive to Herodian & Shepherd’s Fields in Bethlehem

Day 7 Saturday 14th March: OLD JERUSALEM We will start our day with visit of the excavations at the City of David, Proceed to the Davidson Centre- The Jerusalem Archaeo- logical Park - that reveals the most amazing discoveries of Jerusalem during the Second Temple period. At the foot of the southern wall of the Temple Mount, in the area known as the Ophel, the visitor can climb up the original steps of the Hulda Gates that led to the Temple Mount. Visit the Western Wall Tunnels. Continue our visit in the Christian Quarter; visit: Pool of Bethesda, St Ann’s Crusader Church, Ecce Homo, Antonia Fortress and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Day 8 Sunday 15th March: JERUSALEM Morning at leisure – Afternoon Communion at the Garden Tomb.

Day 9 Monday 16th March: DEAD SEA Depart Jerusalem and descend the Judean Wilderness, to the lowest place on earth-the Dead Sea. Drive along the shore to Masada and ascend by cable car. Tour this mountain top fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jews against the Ro- mans. Drive to a nearby oasis and relax and enjoy an opportunity to “float” in the Dead Sea. Before returning to Jerusalem, visit the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered

Day 10 Tuesday 17th March: JERUSALEM Visit the Friends of Zion interactive museum & the Biblelands Museum then onto to Shiloh. Overnight Jerusalem
