Airport Shuttle Bus TRANSPORTATION Shuttle Bus arranged by the LOC The LOC will arrange shuttle buses for participants ONLY on August 10, 2011 in Beijing Capital Airport Terminal 3 at the minimum cost. There will be an “ICRC2011” sign just at the exit of international arrivals. Please note that we only have limited capacity, “first come, first serve” is the rule. The shuttle bus starts at 9:30am and ends at 20:00pm. We foresee the shuttle interval will be around 2 hours depending upon number of arrivals. Airport Shuttle Bus Passengers can enjoy round trips between BCIA and Xidan / Beijing Railway Station / Gongzhufen/ Fangzhuang / Zhongguancun / Wangjing / Beijing West Railway Station / Shangdi / etc. conveniently by taking airport shuttle. The nearest to the conference venue is Line 4(Gong Zhu Fen Station 公主坟机场巴 士站). The fare is 16RMB (about 2.4USD). Then you can take taxi to the Pullman Hotel. The fare is about 30RMB (4USD). It’s about 130-150CNY from airport to conference venue or conference hotels. Kind Reminders Tips for taking a taxi Please pay attention to the charge standards on the windows of the taxi, and the service supervision card of the taxi driver. Road toll and bridge toll will be afforded by passengers. Please ask the taxi driver for invoices and take down the car number if necessary. Takingthe express bus services (EBS) in Changping Corridor in Beijing as an example, we put forward an EBS route-planning method for long-distance commuter based on a solving algorithm for vehicle routing problem with pickups and deliveries (VRPPD) to determine the length of routes, number of lines, and stop location. Mobile phone location (MPL) data served as a valid instrument for the origin–destination (OD) estimation, which provided a new perspective to identify the locations of homes and jobs. The OD distribution matrices were specified via geocoded MPL data. The optimization objective of the EBS is to minimize the total distance traveled by the lines, subject to maximum segment capacity constraints. The sensitivity analysis was done to several key factors (e.g., the segment capacity, vehicle capacity, and headway) influencing the number of lines, the length of routes.

The construction and operation of a metro system are costly, and the sustainable development of a metro system is difficult using government funding alone, particularly for developing countries. The main source for metro system financing in China is, currently, government budget and bank debt. Many cities have begun to seek new ways to attract funds from finance markets, which is increasing the need for the evaluation of metro financing. This study uses Beijing as a case study that utilises various financing modes with impressive results. As participants of the financing reform, the authors collected all the relative government documents and interviewed stakeholders to accomplish this work. This article reviews the development of financing modes for the Beijing Metro system during the last four decades and analyses the role of the government in the reformed financing system within the Chinese social political environment. The study addresses the advantages and challenges of the reforms in this context. To further analyses the technical processes of typical financing modes, the public-private partnership mode of Line 4, the BT mode of Olympic Branch Line, the insurance claim mode of Line 10 and the failure of the market oriented financing for Capital Airport Line are analysed and evaluated in detail.

In Open Doubles, if teams are less than 12 teams, after Open Doubles we will have an Amateur Doubles. Amateur Doubles is open for all teams with exception of Top 3 teams from Open Doubles. (subject to modification if necessary). Both of Open Doubles and Amateur Doubles will be decided champion, runner up and third. If teams are 12 teams or more, there will be a Qualifier before Open Doubles. Half of teams(Top 50%) will get in the Pro. group. Left half teams(50%) will get in UnPro. group. Both of Pro. group and Unpro will be decided champion, runner up and third. Open Singles (Monday Oct.3nd, 13:00 – 20:00 hrs.) Open Singles is open to everybody.
