Exorcism 101 Let us start by Explaining what Exorcism is Not. Exorcism is not a Game it is quite real if you do not believe this, please do not try to do, or play at trying to do, An Exorcism; it can get you Killed,, or the one you are helping Killed those around you killed; the best trick the devil did is convince others He does not exist. He does not need you to believe to be real; he is, whether you like it our not; he does not play games. Evil will fight for what they think is theirs; just remember the Movie the EXORCIST it was and really did happen but it was a Young Man not a Girl and priests were killed and others very badly injured; there are others as well. Not so well known, in each case the Exorcist forgot the First Rule: YOU Are not the one casting it out, God working in you is and do not lose your faith; Fast, Prayer, Confession. Be for ever trying and remember I Repeat it again: ITS the Power OF God Not you, Casting out the Evil. Another mistake: they forget to Bind it way from all, so it can do no harm, and never think you are stronger than what you are fighting; you are not. This said let us go on to what Exorcism is for there is a lot of info. However diverse these horrific episodes may be, there is one universal element common to every human experience: We all have fears. One avenue through which we can explore, identify and even vicariously experience our most primal fears is through horror fiction. H.P. Lovecraft said: The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown. These facts few psychologists will dispute, and their truth must establish for all time the genuineness and dignity of the weirdly horrible tale as literary form (www.quotationspage.com). Coupled with Lovecraft's fear of the unknown is the fear of any threat to our fragile mortality, fear of anything that may potentially cause physical harm to our being. This is a phobia innate to every person. The most precious and frail endowment of human existence is our ability to sustain and promote our humanity. When this gift is threatened in any way, shape or form, a fear is created. There are several ways through which we can more concretely define these fears, subcategories to the dread of any danger to our delicate subsistence. For example, fear of the unexplained. This phobia can be defined as dread of that which we cannot rationalize with existing or obtainable evidence. Another is the fear of the unseen. This phobia could be described as fright of something that is intangible or concealed.

And now after her death, Jackson's home in Oakland County will be shared by friends and strangers as the largest gift ever to the Milford Historical Society. Jackson, a native of Milford, donated her two houses in the town to the society before she died in Los Angeles from Parkinson's disease in December at age 95. This is the Milford home that actress Mary Jackson of the 1970s show "The Waltons" grew up in. Jackson The residences are on Canal Street, about five blocks from downtown Milford. bought the home in the 1970s and willed it to the Milford Historical One is the house she was born in, which dates to 1876; the other is a smaller house near Society. Exorcism and Justified Belief in Demons Marcus William Hunt Abstract The paper offers a three-premise argument that a person with first-hand experience of possession and exorcism, such as an exorcist, can have a justified belief in the existence of demons. (1) “Exorcism involves a process by which the exorcist comes to believe that testimony is offered by a demon.” Cited for (1) are the Gospels, the Roman Ritual, some modern cases of exorcism, and exorcism practices in non-Christian contexts. (2) “If defeaters are absent, the exorcist may treat as reliable the process by which he comes to believe that testimony is offered by a demon.” For (2) a case is offered that we have a reliable ability to identify when testimony is being offered and when it is being offered by particular types of agents, what is termed testifier-identification. (3) “In many cases of exorcism, defeaters are absent.” An inductive case is given for (3) by responding to possible defeaters, including several suggested recently by David Kyle Johnson. Therefore, in many cases of exorcism the exorcist may treat as reliable the processes by which he comes to believe that testimony is offered by a demon, and so can have a justi- fied belief in the existence of demons.
