Our Princpal Rev. Dr. Sr. Treesa Dominic and Sr.Dani Maria, Campus Ministry Co-ordinator,Department of English,attended the Xavier Board Northern Regional Meeting at St.Thomas College,Thrissur on 2 nd July 2014.
Out reach Programmes
Sr. Ushus, Department of Malayalam, was the main speaker in the Catechism Day celebration of St Antony’s Church,Attupuram,Thrissur on 22 nd August.
Participation of Students Our Jesus Youth leaders Amrutha Jose(IInd DC English) and Navly Joy (IDC Chemistry)took part in the Leaders’ Meet programme held at St.Albert’s College,Ernakulam on 12 th to 16 th August 2014.
In connection with the mission orientation programme conducted by Thrissur Campus Ministry at Don Bosco College,Mannuthy Jelly Rose P.I.from IIDC English participated.on 2 ND October2014. Our College Jesus Youth team arranged a one day programme in collaboration with Thrissur Campus Ministry in our college auditorium and hundreds of students participated in it..Mr Sasi Immanuel was the resourse person and the one hour adoration was a heart touching experience to all.
Many students of our College participated in the Jesus youth monthly gathering, “CHAT WITH JESUS” arranged by the Thrissur Campus Ministry.Most probably the gathering is in second Saturdays.
Participation in Various Competitions
One of our staff Sr.Reena P.D .secured IVth place in Logoz quiz Archdiocesan level in D category.She also got second in Bible Verse writing in Archdiocesan level.She secured second place in Sister’s Logoz Quiz conducted by Thrissur Arch Diocese.
In connection with Christmas celebration, Christmas card competition was conducted in our campus.
Christian Activities
Programmes Organized for the Spiritiual growth of Students
The activities of AIACHE , Xavier Board and Jesus Youth activities of the academic year 2014-2015 aimed at imparting harmony in life, moral strength and commitment in dealing among the students . The students are initiated into studies by seeking God’s blessings on the first day of the academic year.Rev.Fr.Francis EdattukaranOFM Cap and team from Gagultha Retreat Centre,Kurumal led the session followed by one hour adoration.
ADORATION INAUGURATION
This year the orientation programme for the first year students and parents was conducted on 22 nd July with prayer service and offering of study materials to the God Almighty. This event made the students aware of the omnipresence of God in each and everyone at every moment of life. The opening day message was delivered by Rev. Fr. Anto Thattil Vicar, St .Sebastian’s Church, Chemmannor and Mr Sajan Thomas Psychologist, POC, Cochin. They dealt with the psycho-spiritual dimention of education. Our Principal Rev. Dr. Sr. Treesa Dominic gave necessary guidelines, familiarizing the rules and regulations of the College and University to the new comers and parents.

Value Education Classes
Religious instruction and ethics classes were started on 29 th July 2014, and held regularly on every Wednesdays with the prescribed syllabi of the Christian Chair of Calicut University. The annual examination was conducted at the end of the academic year and prizes were awarded by classwise.
Jesus youth Activities
Jesus youth activities of this academic year started on the same day of the formal inauguration of college.A leadership training programme for the Catholic Students was conducted on 6 th August 2014.Br Leo and Dr.Mary Regina of Archdiocese of Thrissur. This was thought provoking and inspiring.. Student leaders from each class made arrangements for daily prayer meetings in the Convent Chapel on Fridays. A core group was formed in order to take leadership for the prayer meetings. The core group gathered once in every week spending sufficient long time in prayer. Night vigils also conducted by the leadership of Jesus Youth. A one day programme ”PERCAPITA” was arranged for the Jy members with the help of Thrissur Campus Ministry.

Life Guidance Course
Two days life guidance course was organized for the outgoing students of P.G. and U.G. classes on March 13 th and 14 th 2015. The classes were led by the eminent preachers like Dr.George Leons,Mr.Sasi Immanuel and Dr.Santhosh.Through their classes and discussions, students got awareness about family life, family budgeting, importance of protecting life before birth and problems in married life.

Special Events to Highlight the Gospel Values in the Campus
All the above detailed activities helped in highlighting Christian and Gospels Values. Also we organized special programmes for this purpose. On July 30 th 2014ChaplainRev.Fr.JobyChullikkadan dedicated the whole college to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and blessed the renovated college office.

11 th August, the feast day of St. Clare, was observed with a message delivered by Sr. Dani Maria, Department of English. In association with the feast of our patron Saint, St. Little Flower, 13 hour adoration was arranged in the convent chapel.

In connection with the feast of St Little and St.Theresa of Avila, Patrons’ Day and Principal’s Day was celebrated on 7 th October2014 in a prayerful and colourful way with prayer service and Holy Mass followed by feast wishing with sweet memorable moments.

Throughout the month of October Rosary was recited at the Grotto of Mother Mary during noon intervals by the staff and students according to their turn.. Being the month of Rosary ,we held Rosary procession in Fridays.We went into every nook and corner with Mother Mary and it was really a time of blessings in our college.

We organized a three days annual retreat for the catholic students from Aug 27 th to 29 th 2014 which was led by Rev. Fr. Mathew Kuzhinjalil OCD and team.They provided the facility for counseling also.

A one day prayer convention was arranged in our College auditorium for all the Catholic students of Thrissur Assisi Corporate. Rev.Fr.Renny Pullukalayil and Team led the session.
In association with Christmas celebration, various enthusiastic and colourful competitions like Christmas greeting card painting, Christmas Crib making, Carol Song and Santa Claus were held in the College auditorium. The ceremonial Christmas celebration was on 23 rd December 2011.

Rev. Joju Panakkal gave an inspiring Christmas message in which he emphasized the Love, which God shared with us through the incarnation. Our Principal Rev. Dr. Sr. Treesa Dominic felicitated the audience with thoughtful message and Christmas greetings which was followed by various Christmas cultural programmes. The Chief guest distributed the prizes to the winners of Christmas competitions.
On 19 th rd afternoon our Principal and members of the staff gathered around the small Christmas crib and enjoyed the Christmas joy by singing carol songs and sharing Christmas cake. Our principal gave a thought provoking Christmas message which made us to think and meditate the deep meaning of Christmas, the self emptying of God for us.
Little Flower College, Guruvayoor celebrated her Diamond Jubilee this year and abundant blessings were showered upon her by God Almighty. She was blessed with NAAC A Grade (3.52 CGPA)
Every First Friday Confession and Holy Mass were arranged for the catholic staff and students. Gospel messages, suitable for youth were given by the Priests during the Holy Mass. Thus Our College is trying to fulfill our mission of imparting quality education and Gospel values to our students
